Adidas Men's Tour 360 Boost 2.0 - Waterproofing?

I live in Wisconsin and I play a ton of golf in the summer. During the Wisconsin golf season, I typically get in around 250 +/- 9 hole rounds in. 98% of the time I am riding so even though I am playing a lot of rounds, I am not putting a ton of mileage on my shoes. I play in the early AMs and typically see some form of dew during my rounds. My Adidas Tour 360s were starting to let in a bit of water so I ended up buying a pair of Adidas Tour 360 Boost 2.0 near the end of the season last year. Depending on the amount of dew, I have been getting some wet feet already this year. I like to think that I take pretty good care of my shoes which includes tossing some Allen Edmonds shoe cedars into my shoes when not in use. After reviewing the Adidas waterproof warranty, it seems that my shoes would not be covered under the normal wear and tear exception. Does anybody have any tips or suggestions on how I might be able to prolong the waterproofing of my shoes? I have tried adding super glue around the seams where the sole meets the leather on my prior shoes but that didn't seem to do the trick.

I use same rule as hiking, wear the most breathable shoe with thin socks. Feet are gonna get wet. Breathable shoe will dry out alot faster. Those heavy leather shoes just trap moisture in them

I would suggest sending your comments to Adidas. I've had Tour 360s for years and never had wet feet, even when playing in very wet conditions, rain, etc.

I will agree with the comments. Never had a problem with them being waterproof

Bear grease.

 

Mink oil if bears for greasing are in short supply. Seriously, if it is real leather put some mink oil on there and work it into the seams. Use a shoe dryer or gentle heat to soak the oil into the leather somewhat.

There are tons of waterproofing sprays out there for shoes, basically scotchguard for shoes.

 

Lifeproof do one, as does Jason Markk, even Ecco does a golf shoe cleaning kit that contains a cleaning foam, leather conditioner and waterproof spray.

I had a pair leak once and adidas replaced them free of charge. Worth calling.
