Best GPS watch w/post round stats and analysis

I'm currently using a Garmin x40 and the statistics it keeps are pretty good. My main problem with it is you can barely edit a round after you are done, constantly get errors on the website. If you remove all of your shots on a hole there is no way to manually add them back in. Also I have noticed it doing strange things where it likes to show a your drive from the tee to the green and then all of your shots in between. Bottom line I find it very buggy. Their support is absolute garbage, kind of surprised they are still in business with how bad the company operates.

 

So what is a good GPS watch that collects all of your stats and shot distances? Also not made by Garmin. :)

Hands down the Shotscope V2. Amazing if you can deal with a pretty large watch on your wrist. I was skeptical but the watch does not bother me at all and I have a small wrist. The software is great too for post round editing though I recommend using the website on a PC as it's easier than mobile if you need to adjust shots or the flag. I originally didn't think I'd use the on-course GPS much since I prefer a laser but honestly it's the best GPS I've ever used. It does front/middle/back based on your location. So if you're on the edge of the fairway or 60 yards right of the green you get front/middle/back from that angle. The yardages are very precise in my experience. You also get hazard distances as well. The only interaction on the course you need to do is, once you putt out, you have to "mark the hole location" by simply clicking a number on the watch to indicate how many putts. You can also edit this after your round easily if you happen to forget. It's also easy later on to add shots or move show locations. I'd say the only drawback is you must charge this after 18 holes and make sure you keep it off while not in use. The battery usage is quite substantial. It's necessary to pre-download courses using the app and sync to your phone if you go to a new course. Their support is great too. Very responsive and fixed tees at my home course within 24 hours and added my putter to the club database quickly. Of course you also get tons of performance metrics which really help to know your true distances. I paid $189 for it and it looks like it's now $159 on Amazon and I don't regret it one bit. I have a Garmin S20 and the shot tracking is a joke on that thing as it picked up random shots all the time and missed several others. I really never even bothered with it after a while.

LOL hopefully that Shotcrap is better now than it was when they released it. I did the preorder and when I finally got it for one the watch looks like its a 1989 Casio reject. Its SO fugly. And it never worked. It was so full of bugs seemed so cheap I would really be weary of the product if I were you.
