Ryder every other year and no PC was the right formula. Lot of golf, give the guys a break every other season. Also every other year added to the build up. PC is a terrible event and detracted from the RC. If euros and guys from South Africa, Canada, Australia etc....think it's some great honor to play for their country every year, than they should play each other.

I do think the USA team could use a break and play once every two years. Other than history, why not just make it USA vs. Everyone once every two years?

Based on the current standings, the U.S. should absolutely DESTROY the International team.

 

I don't even think the two captain's picks matter for winning BUT they should be used to get some guys ready for future competitions. I think Kevin Kisner needs to be a pick if he doesn't qualify. He won the match play and got fifth in the Zurich Classic that uses a team competition.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Tiger quit playing after the Open. It’s like he knows he only has so many swings left in his body and he wants to save them for majors, and prepping for majors. If I’m Tiger I rest the back till Torrey Pines next spring winter.
