Life Expectency...what's your lie?

Thought this might be a fun, albeit morbid topic.

 

It recently occurred to me that given average life expectency (in the US,~ 76 male/80 female) I had by now made the turn onto the back nine in life. So I decided to figure out where my current age would put me if i were playing life at my home course. Doing the math, since my age puts me just off the tee on 14, a par 3, my ball is in the air, ideally with a birdie putt to follow.

 

So where are you on your course in life? Front nine, back nine...and what shot are you currently facing?

About the same spot as you although on my course we're looking at a par four fourteenth, so I'm faced with what should be an 8 iron approach from the middle of the fairway just at the dogleg following a tee shot with an iron for placement. We'll see if I can hit it close!

I'm fluffed up in the rough on the 10th hole. Still have a lot of holes left to (hopefully) play!

I'm sitting on the green on the 8th hole. I'm facing a mid range birdie putt. To this point in the round, I have a really good number going so far but my swing isn't fully there. This thing could go any direction. My ultimate fate is likely determined by my next 4 holes.

I am teeing off on the 7th hole hoping for a nice birdie. I played holes 1-3 around even par, bogeyed 4 and made a disastrous snowman on 5 (divorces will do that). I scrambled and got up and down for par on 6, so I’ve got lots of momentum going headed back toward the club house before I make the turn.

Keep looking back triples and quadruples I made in the beginning and hoping to make eagle or albatros to make up for them.

definitely not rushing or pressing myself to do stupid stuff though.

I just hit 6 iron off the tee to about 120 out on number 14. 20 yards short of the water, that requires a 230 Yd, carry off the tee.

Just walked off the 9th (38) with a birdie feeling good. 10 is a short par 4. Took a chance hitting driver off the tee and found myself missing the fairway with a bad lie. Hoping I can recover and save par cause I’ve had a pretty good round going for me so far.
