I'm not a Trademark attorney but I think as long as they aren't selling putters with GSS on them they may be good.

Actually is has nothing to do with the actual use of GSS (that would be more of a patent issue), but use of the term.

 

However, since this is a one off putter and not one actually for sale, just having GSS on a bumper isn't going to be something likely to be worth anyone's effort. It would be easy enough to just say GSS stands for something else.

 

If something came to retail, then the legal departments likely get revved up.

Look at the back edges of the shoulders. Slope down rather than running parallel with the top line. Definitely the Madison shape.
