We'd like to think we started this :) We're staying true to our color coded launch system with this new Ventus profile. Red is designed to be a higher launching profile than the original (blue) Ventus. We have finalized the profile after months of Tour testing and feedback and it is rolling into production. Stay tuned for an exact retail launch date! Per below, we launched "Proto MH" on Tour earlier this year as our mid-high launch prototype profile of Ventus. So the Red is the production version of the MH Proto or is the MH proto going to fit in between the Red and Blue?

I would like to get my hands on one of those Black proto's for a demo!! Although, I'm guessing I'd really fit somewhere between the Blue and Black.

 

Fuji, How many tour wins do I need to get a proto with the butt and mid-stiffness of the Black and the tip stiffness of the Blue?

To clarify, the Red is the finalized product and will be available at retail this fall, most likely September. The black is still in progress but aiming for fall release also. The proto MH will be no more as it was Tour only, but we may still have some up our sleeves for giveaways ;)

Oooo! Oooo! I'm in already for a 7-X! I LOVE my Ventus blue in my driver. I've never hit straighter drives so consistently as with this club now.

Ok... So, @"Fujikura Golf", mid launch is here, high launch is coming, and low launch is in the works. Can we also be expecting a ventus hybrid shaft too?? Please? :)

I think we should all feel pretty good that the Ventus black/DJ profile is coming. Marshall said, when interviewed by the PGA TOUR that there were two additional Ventus coming. Could be a fun fall...!

I could be wrong but I believe Mitsubishi Diamana is the pioneers whom created the color codes; Diamana Blueboard (Mid launch), Redboard ( High launch), White board but BLACK shaft ( Low launch) which evolved into the D+ which is also a black shaft.

I have the 6x MH and it’s a damn good shaft. Low spin and launches slightly higher than a reg model. It’s a bomber.

Is it possible the Black Ventus is coming at the same time as the Red?!?! I cannot WAIT for this shaft........ the blue is EVERYWHERE on tour right now. I expect the same for the black! Is it September yet?
