It does to me. Nice blade, as we would expect from Miura. Hard to tell size of it from the photos. Seems like it is the lastest tweak to past designs.

Wow, I might need to wait until I see what's coming in September. Seems like I have a tough choice ahead. Reup on my beloved Apex MB, or go with something new like, the new Mp-20 or the blueprints. But I've been looking at the MB001 and seriously interested. Now that picture from Ancer really has me thinking Miura could find its away into the bag from the first time. This is going to be fun

I agree, it does look like a tweaked MB-001. The MB-001 is a good blade and I will be curious to see the tweaks they made to it.

We shall see in a month's time.

No. I really don't have a ton of interest in it. Tbh, I love my 1008s, but the new protos are just SOOOOO pretty (and I'm kinda interested in an MOI matched set)

I ..... LIKELY would be if that were true!

Seeing as how Miura seems to recycle names (301, 501, K-Grind, Baby Blade, etc.) .... I really hope this club pictured is NOT named a 001. If anything, maybe TB? Tournament Blade? DON'T stamp it anywhere! Remove Abraham's logo and sell!!!

Their social media account posted that they would release pretty soon and that there were going to be LESS forgiving than the MC 501s - suggesting it would be a true blade. Someone else mentioned to me that a new cavity back was also in the words. I trust the social media account more (as this is coming straight from the source), but wouldn't be surprised if they came out with two new irons...

Information on the blade is correct. Confirmed.

Information on the cavity back I can only confirm based on info and pictures that got out here at WRX.

Blade does stick to their roots.
