Lol. He won’t need to carry a driver in the bag in the champ tour. He can reach most par 4s with his 3 wood. Scott macaron will be left standing there dickie in hand.

Short rough, short courses, short tournaments..... but Phil won't get there until he get about 55 though. He loves hitting it pass the youngsters to much... LOL!

Phil plays his game. Not sure why anybody has a problem with it. I enjoy watching the way he plays and have no problem with his decision. I think his record speaks for itself. If I had his short game I would certainly take more risks (and I am already a guy that goes for a lot)!

If people need to complain about Phil like he still has something to prove, they need to find something else to do. Phil's having fun. He might find the secret sauce and win another one, he might not, but he's still relevant. Distance was one thing. Accuracy I don't know if he can overcome. But we all love him for it. Who gains clubhead speed at his age? Certainly not most pro's. Good work Phil keep it up.

Bogies on par 5's happen all the time. However, what is his birdie/eagle to bogey ratio on par 5s? I'm sure he birdies or eagles par 5's much more than he bogies par 5s. So, likely it is a much higher percentage play to go for it.

Exactly! There are a number of things you can't do here:

 

1. Ask Phil to play safe.

2. Be on the side of JD if he asks for a cart waiver at the next major.

3. Be on the side of the USGA on any issue, even if they're right (which is, thankfully, rare).

4. Criticize Ferguson on any issue, but to be fair, how can you? The avatar is so lovable!

5. Criticize 100% polyester performance golf shirts.

6. Admit that you drive the ball less than 301 yards.
