If you’re a VPN user set your IP address to Ireland and you can stream it with proper announcers at https://www.rte.ie/player/

I watch all my golf using my Sky TV, rather than the golf channel, far better commentators compared to GC. You certainly see far more golf rather than advert after advert.

Agree with all of these for normal amateur play. For pros not really an issue. At Lahinch, they send someone out with you for 4-5-6-7 to help out with certain blind spots so you’re not waiting to hit in order to be careful (or at least they did this for my group in ‘17). Good point on lay of the land. Having played Lahinch, it makes perfect sense why the course has them. They’re not forced, they’re not gimmicky, they just fit. They even give yardage books for free to help you out as well. God, Lahinch is just the best.

Lol, I read this and then the advert came on.

Just what everyone needs to think about while relaxing watching golf.

They're very convincing though. I've bought five funerals since Thursday.

I'm watching the 4th round with the sound down so can't hear what anyone is saying so the answers may be obvious to all but me.

Just about every group I've seen has put their tee ball off the 1st in the left rough nearly killing spectator and Marshall alike. Is it the best spot to attack the pin from or are they all incompetent. And, why are spectators there?

Anyone else notice that when Rock walked onto the 1st tee there were handshakes all around but not between himself and Cabrera Bello.

Two reasons: or they have shaked hands before, or they hate each other.

Sooooo hard to go low two days in a row. The day before you're thinking it's an easy game and it's always going to be easy and you can and should always play that well. Then all the stuff that was going in the day before you miss the next day, all the good bounces turn bad, and you start getting tight.

Anyway, he makes this on 13 and he's right there in it.

Yea. But you discount the mental side. Rahm said himself he “ was shocked to look up and see myself tied on 14. So I figured I’d try to put some distance in between us “. What if he looks up and is 3 down ? He may press and backup. Rafa came out hot. Then melted after he missed that short putt. Rahm had nobody pressuring him. He freewheeled to that score.

I’m not saying Rahm didn’t deserve to win. I’m just saying that Rock and Rafa were in neutral and Rahm just had to not beat himself after 14. Hardly a battle till the end.

Rahm is very good at winning from behind. If I'm not mistaken his only win from the front was his previous Irish Open win where he had a share of the lead after 54.

Given how often he is near the top of the leaderboard I can't recall seeing him playing with the pressure of the lead other than at The Players earlier this season (and Irish Open 2017) where he folded.

That was a really fun watch - with the ability to skip through all the commercials.

It was cool to get to see how the ball reacts off the hills on The Dell, as when we're playing it you obviously know the ball will get up to things, but not seeing it you do always wonder.

Bring on week #2 of the best 3 week stretch of professional golf this year! :-)
