I've seen loads of these and I have always found them interesting and often mildly amusing, this one had me sat here laughing out loud. Patrick was the star and I'll give him the benefit of he doubt and say it was the innocence of youth that made him so naive.

This type of humor is why their broadcasts are far better than the US chat room while golf is being played approach. It also gives the regular person insight into how tough it is to do commentary well.

+1 to the post that said this is why European tour broadcasts are better. I'm sure Jim Nantz is a nice guy, but Donnelly and Torance seem like they would be great guys to just sit around and shoot the bull with for a couple of hours.

This was the all time best from the Euro Tour, they are just miles better than the PGA/Skratch media folks.

I think that it is a cultural thing. Or a post-cultural thing, whatever that means.

 

To which I mean that they live in a different world, and it's OK over there. The beer might be better, the food certainly is.
