Anti hook hybrid.

Looking for your guys suggestions on hybrids that hook the least. I'm looking to replace my 3 iron with a 3 or 4 hybrid depending on the gaping I'm looking for.

the PXG gen 2 hybrids. you can move the screws around to prevent it from hooking. I love the way they look. and when you call you can get some nice premium shafts for a small upcharge

Is that with the standard setting or a flat setting?

I have an F7 and it’s not a hook monster. I used driver logic (lofting up closes face angle and down opens it) and bought the version that I could loft down to get what I wanted out of it.

I can hook any hybrid. Don't know why exactly but it's a FACT. As an experiment I recently bought a "Lexi Blue" Cobra F7 head off ebay and it's easily the best hybrid I've used in years; I can still hook it but most shots are straight with just a little draw. I added a little hotmelt in the toe but not enough to upset the CG much. Callaway Apex in my experience, is as hook prone as they come.

I have an 818 H1 that I do not think I have ever hit a hook with. I can hit a draw (I play a draw), but never really lost on left.

I just have to ask OP, when you hit your hybrid, do you hit down on the ball like you would an iron? Or do you sweep at the ball like you would with a fairway?

Taylormade GAPR Lo. I couldn't hit that thing high enough to hook or slice. It was 25 yards of carry right down the middle, every time.

Yep, it's definitely been my swing every time causing the problem.

 

Moving the ball a little further back in my stance and swinging at it like an iron always fixes things.
