I’ve read through most of this thread, lots of great posts and memories here. But seriously, how could one of the most incredible guitarist/songwriters of all time not be mentioned? Of course I’m speaking of Mark Knopfler, the genius behind Dire Straits. I haven’t been to a concert in years, but very excited to see him this fall at the Greek Theater in Berkeley.

RIP Ric Ocasek of The Cars. Always loved their music (forgive some late 70s additions here)
