I wish they have two ball packs like some of the other companies do to let you try them out...I may have to ask my wife for some as my Father's Day gift.

I was playing pro vx's and went to this ball 2 years ago. I haven't hit pro vx's in a good while now, but the c4 was a little longer for me off the tee when I first went to them. I will say if you like pro v's spin off your irons and it's short game performance you will love the MG's.

The word is spreading...just tried to order a couple dozen, and they are sold out until next week. I have been using last year's models, not sure if they are the same. Someone mentioned earlier in the thread about the C4 feeling "heavy". I have the same feeling as well on lats years' models. is it just my bias to Mr. Titleist, which has filled my bag for years, or is it real? Any others noticed the heavy feeling off the irons? Also, how about the trajectory? The last year models seemed to have a higher trajectory that the PRO V1. Thanks for any comments.

Count me in as a believer of this ball too! I figure for $20 you can't go wrong with a urethane ball. I wasn't expecting much since - I guess I'm a golf ball ho now thanks to this forum, I impulsively bought some top flite gamer tours about two months ago, 2 dozen for $35 and those were turds - but man, these mg c4 balls are amazing. They feel light off the driver face and seem to fly off very nicely. I feel it did help my style of green side attacking as well. I have already converted one of my playing partners since I gave him three balls to try out. He's been trying to find a new ball since he just can't justify paying $50 every time he needs a dozen balls, he currently plays v1x,. I told him to buy the gloves too while he was at it.

If only it came in tour yellow I would buy a few more dozens but I am terrible at tracking my balls and the Srixon z-star sl tour yellow are my current gamers right now although those balls are looking like they;ll be discontinued. I usually do bust out the mg balls when I'm playing with my close friends, they're use to me being a terrible ball tracker. I'm still trying to die the c4 balls the right color/shade.

Try buying some chartruse lure dye from a sporting goods store and dye them with that. A friend of mine does it and he says it's quick and easy. I've not tried it but his look great.

I found one on my local course the other day and really enjoyed playing it very good spin on wedges putted great. I am going to buy a few boxes to use for the summer. The ball does have many scuffs on it now but it has probably been hit with full wedge shots more than 20 times. Holds up better than the usual balls I play. 20xi taylormade tp3 and callaway tour is

I found one of these balls and just feeling the cover I could tell it was a quality cover. That said, there is an large open field I practice at, which I can hit LW all the way to my Covert Tour 2.0 driver. My shag balls are a nice collection of decent shape Prov1,Prov1x, Callaway Diablo, nxt, and a couple of top flites. For kicks, I teed up the MG C4 and pipe it, long. After hitting all the balls and went and began to pick them up at the other end of the field. Still didn't find the MG until I got to the longest hits, and there it was, sitting right around 290yds. impressed I performed the same test and it was the longest 3 out of 5 times, and this is our of 18 balls. .. WOW. Time to find more.

I just started testing the Tour C4 and I am pleasantly surprised. In my short experience with this ball, I have found the ball to have a heavy and soft feel on full swings, in other words the feed back on the quality of contact is great. The ball feels soft on pitch, chip and lob shots with controllable spin. It performs great with the putter: soft and consistent distance control. I enjoy the piercing trajectory and appropriate amounts of spin off all clubs. I have played most of the premium balls over the years for extensive periods of time. My favorites have been the Pro V1 (2007), Chrome +, One Black, Revolution (original), B330s (all); but the Tour C4 is second to none of these and it is a much better value. It is too soon to tell if their is a significant distance difference however it does perform well in the wind. I could not resist trying these out as I ordered the gloves due to the high praise on GolfWRX.

Need to put these up against the ksigs.

I'm looking for a cheap urethane ball this year and haven't decided yet. It will be either these, ksigs, MTB, or vice.

I could do a premium OEM ball, but I'd have to buy used since 40+/doz is out of my price range. I am tempted by the chrome soft though...

Tried MG's and I know they have a urethane cover, they just felt like trash to me.

Tried Chrome"softs"....They weren't soft, to me at least. Felt very harsh coming off my Mizzy irons.

Of the cheaper/premium balls, I would suggest Project(a). You can get them for like a dollar a ball, mint on eBay or other lost ball sites.

I like golf. A lot.

I gave a quick review of the MG vs. Ksig over in the KSig thread.

They are fine... I feel like they feel cheap, but that might just be bias.

Play just fine on the course, but I preferred the mtb black or Bridgestone b x.

It’s a good value
