+1. Mine is about a month in the bag and I can’t imagine putting without it. Long putts took a bit of time, but it’s nearly impossible to miss your line with this. Worth the investment... in my opinion

If you're talking about MG$, memory recalls that overall though... people holed more putts with it. It was marginal as far as improving SG18 stats, but the reality is, if you make 10 or 12 more putts with it over the course of the test (300 putts IIRC), that's probably going to improve your HC by 1 or 1.5 points. Depending your HC, that could be a decent increase from doing nothing but changing your equipment.

I have it in all 3 of my putters and i'll never use a putter without it. Worth the money once you get use to the feel.

That's the one. Like I said, it showed a very marginal change in performance; one that would be hard to call a material change. OF COURSE this isn't to say that someone might not do a lot better with it individually. The intent isn't to scare anyone away. The point is that the claims of improvement have been challenged on the whole. I think it's safe to say that unlike, say, driver forgiveness, this type of change will amplify the player, not contain the miss to limited damage.

 

So caveat emptor; this type of upgrade isn't going to help you unless it helps you personally. Blanket statements of "better" need more independent testing.

Just installed mine this week. One putted 4 of the first 6 greens I played. Does it help or was it just mental? No sure, but initial results are good.

Spoke with a BGT rep and he said these tour versions won’t be released to the public anytime soon. He also mentioned that they’re working on a driver shaft. That should be interesting.

Have the new version being installed on my spider X this week, will do a review as soon as I get it. Hopefully the snow holds off! I had a c taper x130 installed on it so I am way curious how it will test

Really interested in hearing reviews on this new version. I purchased two of the original and I just could not get used to the weight. I play my putters about 36" and the swing weight was off the charts in multiple putters. It's really had to justify spending $250 on something before absolutely knowing it will work with my set up.

 

It was disappointing to find the original version was so darn heavy, especially when the weight was never really talked about by the company

Yea I'll do my best. I'm a 20hdc so might not be the best at explaining. Can't wait to try it though, spider x has been my best golf purchase to date.

I have the original in an EXO 7s and I looking at getting the new one in my Scotty T22 (prefer the feel off the Scotty). I had hoped to win one in the review competition on here but doesn't look like that's happening. Guess I'll be sending it off soon!

Anyone else that has seen a few of these tour shafts together? Can you do me a favor and roll them out like a pool cue. Also see how the coupling connects to the shaft while looking down the shaft and rotate. Our first batch delivered had a lot of flaws and wanted to know if others were seeing this?

 

Don't get me wrong I love my original stability not going to give that up for anything but maybe the tour version..
