Ping g400 lst vs 410 lst

Looking at the 410, demoed it, hit it fine. But I found a basically new 400 lst 8.5 with a shaft I really like for about $100 less. Have not hit the 400 lst, so for those have hit both, is there any real difference? I know Michael Newton says there isn’t, but curious to get others thoughts.

More adjustments available with the 410. That's it. I personally think the 400 LST sounds and feels better.

I could hit some really good ones with the g400 lst, but would miss right a lot. I like being able to put the weight in draw on the g410 lst.

I upgraded from the 400LST to the 410LST. There is a difference. The 410 sounds better, feels better, has more adjustments to fine tune the club to your swing and I have added yardage on my drives. The more I use it the more confident I feel. I have added anywhere from 5-15 yards depending on my swing that day, so to me...although I did enjoy the 400LST, the 410LST is a clear winner. $100 is a small price to pay for a better driver.

What about the lie options? I heard you can make the 410's more flat, or is that only certain woods?

That’s what sold me. The 19* hybrid on flat is the best club I’ve ever played. Pretty sure this is the 1st time I’ve ever had a single line in my bag. Driver, 3 wood, hybrid and irons.

Really more loft and lie options are the answer, will be using 11.5 setting and flat vs 11 and standard currently

I'm actually fine with the standard setting, dialed down to 8 deg. I also have the 410LST 3W, 3& 4 hybrids and the 410 irons. I also have the stealth wedges 50-54 & 58. I am LOVING the bag. My bag set up is the best ever for me! Ping's equipment right now, is really-really good.

Top is a bit less busy on the 410 with the Dragonfly Tech being moved internally but not much of a difference.

 

If your fitter needs to tinker more with weight placement and lie go 410, if you're pretty standard save the cash and go 400.

Bringing up this earlier thread to see if anyone has any updates. I have a G400 LST and like it a lot. I’m curious if the 410 LST produces a similar flight as the 400 LST or if it is a more penetrating flight.

The g400 lst was longer but the g410 lst dispersion was tighter. 
This is taking the same shaft out of the 400 into 410

 

410 is also 5cc bigger?

Had the 400 lst till cracked. Ping replaced it with 410 lst. Ping didn't send same shaft back but I played new 410 with success. I miss my 400lst felt more stable and the sound was better IMO not all variables are the same here but comparing the two setups I would pick 400 lst 9 out of 10 times.

I have used a 400 LST 8.5 for about a season and a half. I've had 2 410 LSTs in the past year. For me the 400 beats the 410. I play the 400 down at 7.5 and when I turned the 410 down to 7.5 I noticed I had trouble turning the ball over because it is more open. That said I do feel like the 410 is more forgiving but not by much.

The 410 shaft adapter is different than the 400 adapter, correct?  Haven't bothered trying the 410 due to having to find another shaft.  I'll just look for more 400lst heads if need be.
