Are these supposed to be more forgiving than the JPX or just the most forgiving of the MP bunch and the JPX will be more forgiving. Can’t imagine the JPX Tours being more so maybe it sits between the Tour and Forged.

Not thrilled with the look of the HMB- thicker than anticipated. Need to see in person and compare against the MMC for the 5/6 iron.

Makes me question even more why they made the SEL set for us lefties. Just make the MMC in lefty and be done. It has the look of a blade but with some forgiveness. The transition from the blade to the HMB seems quite difficult. In TM terms, they essentially made us P730’s with 790 3/4 irons, when they could have just made us P750’s and satisfied so many more people.

According to Chris Vosh at Mizuno (per another golf website), the difference in the MP20 line is trajectory, not forgiveness or distance. That article is well worth a read.

I’m a little surprised that people are so disappointed in the HMB thickness. After all, the long irons are meant to be udi type clubs and the full set seems to be something between a p790 and p760. We’re people expecting a true blade?
