What's your formula to avoid chafing down under?

Struggled with this previously as a walker playing twice a week during summer. Switched to UA Boxerjocks instead of briefs and never had an issue again. Have used Body Glide as well which is very good. Powder is useless on a hot sweaty day.

Well, those too are what i use. Love PoT boxer briefs (cheaper at target than their site) but i still use the goldbond spray too.

Used to have this issue, sometimes even when wearing the various boxer brands mentioned in this thread. Started using the Gold Bound spray last Fall and haven't dealt with chaffing since, and that includes walking 10 rounds in 7 days earlier this month.

 

 

 

Anyway, it works.... and I can't believe I've become a commercial for anti-chaffing remedies.

Worked in hot humid environments for two decades off n on. Best defense against this is to wash your spots and wear under roos that don’t get soaked.

 

For me Duluth Trading Buck Naked has worked for many years.

 

Have worked with a bunch of guy in the gulf on rigs who complain about munkey butt yet never seem to take a thorough shower after work on a daily basis.

 

Also, lads, don’t spray/roll on/rub in any taint-smelly-good crap down there. That is a sensitive spot that is just waiting for irritation. And irritation plus humidity equals a fungal n bacteria playground.

 

Your woman would rather you shower first than have schwetty parts that smell part Axe part Petri dish.

You have to eliminate friction and moisture from sweat. I don't think powders are a good option. No cotton underwear, you need tech briefs that wick sweat away and keep your thighs from touching. No briefs. Two, you need lubrication on your skin. Lots of options in this thread. Plain ol' vaseline is cheap, tried and true.

Couldn't have said it any better, minus the lubrication. Just a standard pair of poly/spandex boxer briefs that wicks the sweat away and has a smooth nearly friction free surface does wonders. Cotton boxer briefs will eventually either ride up, get soaked with sweat, or the material between the thighs pills and creates friction. Haven't had a single issue since I changed.

switched to calven klein polyester briefs and use a separate deodorant stick for that area. works well in high heat/humidity living in Texas. the poly briefs also help with no swamp a$$. used cornstarch but it doesn't last that long.

Just remember if you use goldbond powder, use the yellow/orange bottle. If you use the green or blue you'll be crying to God's that you've created on the fly in hope of relief.
