Yeah, the Pro White didn't play as I had hoped when I got it. It's not made for but it's not the TX flex when you get X flex in it. TM offers the same one in the GAPR.

I ended up buying a Tensei Pro Blue hybrid from Titleist and when it came I had the same concern that it was an "X" not "TX" flex. I reached out to my Titleist rep and got the following response.

I spoke with Don who is the director of shaft development to get more elaboration on the shaft. Here's what he had to say.

 

The picture on the Mitsubishi website with the blue K in the CK was an early prototype version that Mitsubishi decided not to use and we will bring it to their attention so they can put up the current one, secondly, there are only "Pro" versions of the Tensei Hybrids and they are the shafts we offer stock in 818H. The same shafts we offer are played on tour in good numbers, with Tensei Pro becoming the #9 most played hybrids on tour May through July. The reason Mitsubishi chose to call them "Pro" models is because they used the long section of carbon/Kevlar weave in the butt section that goes under the grip like the "Pro" wood shafts. The "standard" Tensei woods use a short piece of weave that ends well before the grip and is covered with black paint and lastly,

The Tensei hybrids do not use the Boron or 40 ton fiber found in the "Pro" woods for good performance reasons. It is because the larger .370" tip diameter of the hybrid would become too stiff and torque get too low. So Boron and 40 ton fiber was not needed or wanted for best performance, tour or consumers. Unfortunately, there was a reference to Boron in the description of the Pro White hybrid on Mitsubishi's website. We will bring that to their attention as well.

Long reply to say it’s not the same shaft. And most of their tour users are playing the tx models. If you’re looking for the specific ck pro white then purchase the shaft separately. The one coming from titleist is an imposter and has mediocre reviews.

I've never owned a driving iron but lately I certainly have more confidence in 4 iron than hybrid club. Can't wait to try out U500 and U510

Im interested in the TS2 over the TS3 just because of the offset and why not have the extra forgiveness. I have the 818H2 now so we’ll see if it dethrones it. Going to use my Atmos shaft in it

I'm stoked to test out the hybrids. I'm already leaning towards the TS2 just because my bag is slowly morphing into a more forgiving one. The stock shafts I'm also interested in, I like the profile of the HZRDUS Smoke Black as backups in my driver and 3W but wonder if the profile will fit in the hybrid. The EvenFlow white looks like a winner, seems to fit the similar profile as the Atmos Tour Spec HB that I have in my 818H2 now. Hope you guys get to test as well would love to hear your thoughts on it
