These not released until next Spring? Like March or around there usually? Can't wait to get even numbered wedges again the odd numbers just aren't to my liking. Wish I never sold my SM6's.

Usually they come out around The Masters so spring is a good shout for them becoming available. In the past few years it seems to have been a case of them being released to Tour at the Shriners and then more details coming out at the PGA Show.

Titleist rep came in and showed us the new irons. Asked about the vokeys and was told it’s something that titleist never done before and it’s going to be amazing. But you know every rep says that. Hopefully I won’t regret just placing an order on a fresh set of vokeys. Was also told around February for the wedges release

something that titleist has never done, interesting.. seems strange to move away (unconfirmed) from such a successful line.

I really don't know what it could be if the rumor is true. The only thing that I could think of that they've never done (at least domestically) is forging the heads. Outside of that, I'm stumped.

I wish they were, I drilled ports in the back of my 60° Vokey to reduce weight only to find it had a huge cavity inside.

I was actually going to port my 60K, how much metal is on the back before you hit the cavity?

As much as I hit my wedges, I don't want them forged. You couldn't tell the difference anyway.

My point was the cavity is not supposed to be in there, I think it was a defect in casting. If you port yours you shouldn’t hit a cavity. For what we pay for wedges these days, you shouldn’t have cavities in your cast product.

Not sure how they’re going to improve on the SM7s. I’m currently gaming a 52, 56 and 60 setup with SM2s and I won’t switch unless they spin more... Which I know they won’t! ;)

Are you finding that SM2’s which must be 10 years old now (and presumably have been used for around about the same time) are still spinning more than what is available now as new?

Doesn’t really matter. 8620 is a great feeling material for a wedge. If they were to go softer they would just wear faster. Not really gaining anything from having a forged stamping put on them.

Agreed. The raw SM7’s feel immaculate and just as good as any forging I’ve ever owned or hit.

Too many drawbacks to a forged wedge to even consider it.

That’s what I was thinking. They’ve done forged, multi-material, and pretty much everything else. I just don’t see them doing a cavity back or some form of adjustability. Put my money on high toe.

I just don't see it. That's too many degrees of a "me too" product, and I don't see the demand for it. It's not like free agents are flocking to Hi-Toe's and PM Grinds on tour. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I doubt milled is in the cards either. The whole Vokey brand is built around craftsmanship and hand ground etc.

For those of you guys that have played Vokey's for some time. Can you stick with the same grind from model to model year after year? Or does Vokey tend to change the grinds within each letter every year.

I'd like to every year just pick up the 50* F Grind and 54* S Grind with every reiteration of model.
