I think these are the sweet spot in the lineup. The blades are seductive, but are only suitable for very few ball strikers. HMB are a little chunky.

 

These look just right.

These look fantastic. I prefer straighter top lines vs these with a little curve BUT I can’t complain. These look amazing nonetheless.

Hmmmmm, might be a 3 way combo this year. 2 and 4 HMB, 5-7 MMCs, 8-pw MBs. I was going to pre order but now I think I have to be smart and check these out in person.

I was thinking something very similar, but agreed. The smart thing to do is to see them in person and be a patient, logical, rational adult.

Do these have thinner toplines than the MP-18SC or MP-18MMC? Always thought the topline on the MP-18 models were too thick.

From the pics they look like they’ve been tightened up a bit from the MP18 MMCs.

Stunning. I almost got the 2018 MMCs because I loved how they looked but performance wise I wasn't a big fan.

Will be trying these out along with the Titleist CBs this year.

I’m a fan, but not a ‘ho, so I’ll just stick with my 18 mmc’s for awhile. Still looks like another great product from Mizuno. And as far as their place in the lineup, yep, I think the mmc’s definitely hit the sweet spot. Nice compact profile, but with a touch more forgiveness than a traditional blade...to paraphrase Faldo in a promotional video for the 18’s, why wouldn’t you want that?
