Too good to be true?

I bought the below G400 MAX for my dad. When I got the nightly alert from eBay and saw the deal ($189), I quickly jumped on it. It was exactly what I was looking for and a reputable seller. But now I’m wondering if I missed something. If it’s too good to be true, it probably is ... right?

Why is the price so out of whack? I mean it’s tough to even get a normal G400 from them for that for price. Was it a mistake?

Oh I trust the seller. If not for it being GlobalGolf, I probably wouldn’t have touched it. Would have assumed counterfeit club or something.

 

I mean I was looking for a G400 MAX in Senior Alta. Got it. Condition seems to be really, really good. The price just confuses me. It seems way off. It’s not easy to find a normal G400 for that price, much less a MAX. Am I missing something? Does it be a senior flex really mean that much of a discount? I just can’t help but feel like I ordered the wrong thing :)

Just not a high demand for senior flex. They usually go for a bit less than other flexes. Looks like you got a good deal!

In that case, it makes sense to buy whatever driver you want in senior flex and then replace it with your desired shaft. For example, 2nd Swing sells the Alta shaft for G400 MAX for $39 and Tour 65 for $49.

 

Of course, this may be the exception and not the rule ... but still
