Good Morning Comrades.

 

Serious question: When do you think BK started his fake “I’m cool” strut? I have noticed it partially goes away when he is walking quickly. So this is clearly not a natural gait. He has honed this little dance of his particularly around the green and whenever the cameras are on him. But notice how he does lose some of it when in a hurry, as I stated above.

 

He reminds me of a friend back in elementary. Nice kid but he had this funny walk from time to time.

 

Not trying to be mean here. Maybe more a social statement going on. I have no clue to his upbringing. This may have preceded his athletic career, a sort of coping mechanism employed for self preservation?

 

Haha. Ok maybe a little silly but I do have questions. In no way would I compare BK to our good friend Elk. But this does appear created.

 

For the record I do not think BK is a bad person. Just a nice guy probably misunderstood. I want to better understand him.

 

So what the opposite of heaven is up with this?

It's likely all about calming one's self. Breathing and walking at a certain pace. Most of the Pro's do something like this. It's just that most of them aren't physical specimens like Brooks and it isn't as obvious. Plus they aren't on camera any more since they aren't the best player on the planet.

Why is a discussion of this suspect? Everyone talks about the walk of DJ. Some say it’s that “swagger”(I really cringe at that word) that all champions have. But I never noticed it from Jack, Arnold, Watson. Don’t see it in Rory, Justin, Jordan, not even Rahm. Don’t see it often in other sports. So it’s not necessary to be successful. So that’s all it is. Why? Some have said they believe it to be natural. Maybe so?

Everyone has their way of doing things from calming themselves down or pumping themselves up. The way someone walks isn’t even something most people watching golf notice unless it’s when they are storming off after a bad result or shot or slamming/throwing a club.

 

Imo this type of topic at best would be something for when half the country can’t play golf and is bored. Its like talking about tiger chewing gum on the course or hey have you noticed how many players are chewing gum now that tiger was seen doing it.

Tiger did that all the time. He would intentionally slow down his walk, breathing and routine and nothing rushed. It was very obvious in his prime.
