Has anyone had a chance to try this yet? Wondering how it compares to the Pro Orange as far as counter balance goes.

I have but only compared it to the OG HZ Yellow not the PO. It is less CB than the original HZ Yellow

I've hit that. Found it to be a bit too soft in the mid section. Would the Smoke Yellow be a stouter profile?

I didnt personally notice that difference between the two, but Ill say it takes more stiffness than most are sensitive to for me to feel the difference lol

Lol. That's fine. So, for you, would you say they played similarly just that the OG yellow had a higher balance point?

the marketing dept all deserve raises over at PX. Also, when did project x become a high end wood shaft company? The Japanese do it better, but that's just my opinion.

If you like smooth even loading shafts, tensei pro is better than evenflow. If you are a heavy loader, I can almost guarantee that new Rogue 130 is better than any hzrdus. If you want a shaft with a big kick (the best feel imo), nothing beats Fujikura and Graphite Design.

I would argue against that. I played the new Rogue White 130 60TX and the HZRDUS Smoke Green 60TX is a much better shaft for me. Feels better, more consistent launch and less curvature on my flight. Out performed the Tensei Pro Orange as well. So, as with anything else in the golf world, there is no hard standard that can be applied across the board. Haven't hit the Smoke Yellow, but would love to try it some day just based on the results I have had with the Smoke Green.

Second this. I have played the Rogue 130 Silver 70TX and the Rogue 130 White 60TX. So far the Smoke Green has been better than either. Of course your mileage may vary.

Also, labeling entire brands as "big kick", or any blanket statement like that, is very misguided.

Certainly a generalization, but they're of course known for those types of shafts. More than anything though I am partial to the quality control of made in Japan stuff. I also don't load the shaft crazy, yall are in a different category. Couldn't imagine playing something with as little feel as a rogue 130 or hzrdus.

I plan to hit mine today. Going against a Synergy Green prototype which I unfortunately can lose left sometimes.

Anyone know what’s up with the 6.5’s that have the little TX under the 6.5? Also saw a 6.0 with TS under it recently.

Have been gaming the Hzrdus Smoke 70gr 6.5 and I like it, it's a heavy shaft with some feel and still a stiff profile that keeps my ball flight down but I just need to remember to try and turn it over to get a straight ball flight. But I recently tested my friends old Hzrdus Yellow 76gr 6.5 and man it felt great and no extra work needed to turn it over.. So would be really interested to try the Smoke Yellow shaft but it's very difficult since these are nowhere. So all feedback welcome especially compering to the OG Yellow and the Smoke black.
