The charts I'm finding online for dri fit are all related to shirts and I'm a bit remote so I won't have an opportunity to visit a brick-and-mortar store for a while. I think I'm a small, but not sure.

We just have golf town up here in the great white north, and the nearest one to me is 2.5 hours. ?

I wear Nike UV. Like them so much got two extra pairs. I also have the Adidas ones which are made of a different material and is thicker - I think it works because of thicker weave. Initially thought they were going to be too warm and use them for the cooler times of Spring and Fall but surprisingly despite them being thick, after wearing them even in summer it is not too bad at all. But go to is Nike and they have three different colours as far as I know: white, black and blue. The Nike do get looser after multiple washes (after two seasons)

At least the L/XL in Nike should be good. I must have short forearms.

Whoa. Not sure yet how much cooler they feel, or even if they do, but they feel way better than my Nike and go on way easier. Because they are a one size fits all, I knew something had to be up. If these keep me cooler or as cool as the Nike, these will beat the Nikes out for sure. Here are some pics and I’ll report back when I wear them this week.

They feel great.

The Nike ones, having to be fit to size do not stretch like these do and they are more poly feeling than the FJ. The FJ are super soft and stretchy and are soft to the touch. Once on, they feel more comfy than the Nike and aren’t as tight but don’t feel like they would fall down, but that is yet to be seen.

Wore them today. It was hot. I should have done 1 on one arm and the other, so on. The breeze feels good with them. Definitely kept the burn feeling away. Don’t know if they were “cooler” than Nike but they def go on and off easier and are more comfy than the Nike.

So FootJoy or Nike? I picked up the Nikes last week after reading your posts on them. I'd be curious to know who blocks more UV, because ultimately that why we want to wear them (I know you dont have that answer, just thinking aloud.)

I prefer the FJ. They are a lot stretchier and more comfortable for me. The Nike, you buy on size and were tight based off the size i shouldn’t have worn. The collar under the shirt would hurt after some time. Not enough for me to take them off, but was a relief when i removes them. The FJ stretches a lot more and are more comfy for me.

Haven’t tried any of the others mentioned. This is my first go-round with UV sleeves.

I just purchased the silver Solbari CoolaSun UV sleeves without thumbholes. Shipped from the company in Australia (can also be purchased on Amazon).

https://usa.solbari.com/collections/solbari-upf50-arm-sleeves/products/arm-sleeves-with-thumbhole-upf50-sun-protection-i-coolasun-fabric

Have worn once, so I cannot comment on durability. Found them to be well made, stylish, and comfortable. They stayed in place nicely and fit very well without a tight compression. They give a “cooling” sensation on your arms...tough to describe. I will probably buy some other colors if they hold up.

Footjoy seem thicker or less see through but feel just as cool although, I haven’t tried wetting them like I do the Nikes from time to time. The length, for a one size fits all, is perfect for me. I wear a XL in Nike. And thought no way a OSFA would work but it does.

Again, for me, I’d buy FJ 10 out of 10 times knowing what I know now. Nike’s are fine though.

I just purchased the Sparms shawl. It’s a cover that goes over the shoulders and a few inches down the back. It feels a bit strange when I first put it on but once I put a shirt on I don’t notice it. I’ve had problems with independent sleeves not fitting correctly and cutting into my arms. Sparms takes care of this issue.

Rock bottom is clearing out first generation Sparm shawls for $24, as opposed to $35 or more. Yes, it is in the ladies section, however use your measurements to fit.

I spoke with a Sparm rep, over the summer, he said the next gen won’t be called shawls because men aren’t keen on the name. For me I want a product that checks all my boxes and this one is doing it.

I'll check it out, thanks!

I did end up getting the Nike sleeves but on clearance at the end of season, so I haven't been able to take them for a spin yet.

I have the Nike dry fit ones in white and black. Love them - great protection, cooling sensation and none of the gross sunscreen feel post round.

Don’t sleep on those FJ ones. I’m telling you, they are the most comfy ones yet. I’m brave Nike and they work well, but after a long time to irritate at the top of the arm. The FJs are a different material, feel better, stretch a lot more and seem better all around. Time will tell how well they hold up. Only 1 season with them so far. The one size fits all i thought would be a problem since all others are sized but they work great because they stretch so much.
