I’d hardwire a usb hub that can operate off an 8V battery and plug in a phone dock. Then I’d mount a large computer fan on the underside of the roof to blow air down on my head. I’d strap a couple UE Bluetooth speakers to the front A pillars and pair them together. I’d mask off the tires and fenders and paint the wheels gold. And call it a day.

There is a radio in the little slot on left hand side. I used to have it hooked up to my batteries and it would drain them too quick. The guy I bought it from said he used to have it hooked up to a spare batteries, said he got it out of a electric wheel chair. I just dont know where to get my hands on one.

Dude, I didn't even think that was you. I thought that was an ad or something! Looks pretty cool already you've got your dog your cart... Clearly you're already doing great. Congrats.

Β

Far as pimping out your Yamaha my first thought is to keep it simple!

Β

2nd thought is well obviously you're going to need some way to power and recharge things. But even with speakers it would be just as easy to have a place to put a JBL charge or for example and bring that with you as it would be to put anything else in. I have no idea how loud you need things but my little Ancer 3 is plenty loud enough for me where ever I go if you wanted to get ridicoulous you could get 2 JBL's but meh... and it'd probably sound good enough just stood up in a drink slot.

Β

Anyways this is your project, so I'm wondering...

Β

Which model cart is that if you know?

What's your goal?

Whats your timeline?

Whats your budget?

Paint job and enhance the motor with more batteries and appropriate equipment so the cart is faster on the street. Also, larger street/turf tires and wheels and make it street legal. My cart was clocked at 45mph with all the comforts of a luxury car.

I would go with something bigger than that and I’m sure you can find them on eBay, just need to know what you’re looking for. I imagine that if you look around hard enough there are people that have swapped out full size deep cycle car or marine batteries into their golf carts to run auxiliary items.

I would love for it to go that fast. Just bought 6 new 6-volt batteries runs 10x better and a smudge faster. How did you make yours faster?

Custom motor kit and related components but they cost, plus seven larger volt batteries. I didn't do the work, I had it done, as did my buddy by a shop that customizes all sorts of carts. When carts go that fast, they have to be made street safe too, which means better slightly larger tires and stronger wheels for added weight, which adds to the OA cost.
