The face angle on the driver looks pretty open. I guess that helps his banana flight. Putter looks like shit. It's odd he'd have everything else custom painted, then go with raw/rust on the flatstick.

Is the line halfway up the hosel of the putter from adjusting the loft/lie or is that a crack starting to form?

It looks like a partially sanded welded area. Not sure why they didn't just make a new hosel and weld it on or just create a new putter all together.

That putter is a few minutes with steel wool from being sweet...but for now it does look a bit rough Bubba

He had the putter hosel cut and rewelded to make it shorter. It fit his eye and putter stroke to do this. Cool to see the close up photos!

I can’t imagine having my name and face on half the things inside my golf bag. It’d creep me out to look in my bag and see myself peeking back from under my driver headcover.

I agree totally on the face/name thing over half the bag but damn if that paint job on the driver head isn't sweet.

Yeah, that’s not really my thing. But different strokes, I guess. To me, it looks like it was airbrushed at a kiosk at the mall. Or stolen from an 80’s festival velvet painting, only missing the silhouette of KISS above the Bubba.

I think it’s a slightly shorter neck to give it more toe hang, cut and welded. Looks like crap for a custom one-off for a big name tour pro, they could have done a much better job. Or just milled a shorter neck and not had to cut and weld. But to be honest I love the finish, and frankly the amateur weld job kind of gives it a cool rat rod look. It looks like crap, and I kind of like it. Grimy, in a good way.

Eh I think it would be his S59's personally. He had those in the bag into 2013/2014 and they came out in 2004. Don't get me wrong, the he's hooked on the 55's for sure, but you couldn't pry those S59s out of his hands for the longest time. To the point where PING was no longer making the heads and I believe it was costing PING several thousand per set for him as they had to cast blank heads and mill the face.

Interesting to see he is using the Glide 3.0 wedges, will really be able to tell how much he likes them if puts in a set with his Bubba's Sweet Spot engraving.

Agree I like the rat rod look myself
