Golf Pride Pro Only putter grips?

SUPERG

Recommended Posts

I think these are a re-release from 2009.

It would be cool to have reference guide and pictures (top and side profiles) of different grips. I would love to see the differences, and manufacturer websites don't always show the profile differences.

Just ordered a Red star version from grips4less, they said it was ready to ship! I'll update when I get it, I wish I could have at least felt and seen all 3 of these to decide witch on first but I guess it's an early release and I NEED a good traditional paddle grip. Very tired of every putter coming with a SS or some version of it.

Isn't green the bigger grip between the red and green? I have the red and it's a pistol grip, just a tad fuller than a PP58.

yea I think it reminds me so much of the deep etch, I decided to game it. The taller profile feels great to me vs wide. All great feel and material though, great departure from the superstroke flooded market.

I held these at my local GT. Thwy actually feel great. I would say they shouls sell reasonably well at $20 CDN. That being said..they are likely no better than similar style grips for half of the price.

The cc translates 1 to 1 in grams. So it actually is weight.

No, cc is volume. They're relaying the overall size of the grip. If the density of the material happens to be 1 gram per cc, then the weight would have the same magnitude, but it still is false to say "it actually is weight" since cc is not a unit of weight.

Totally agree. However I have all 3 and on my scale they weigh exactly the stated cc. Like exactly. So.... ?

So, that means they're all made with the same density material. Assuming they're all roughly the same length, then the smaller the cc the smaller the size. So red is smaller than blue, which is smaller than green.

THat's where they messed up. Should be in the original spot under the top hand.

Love the feel of these grips but wish the red star grip didn’t have a curved front where your top hand goes. Can anyone recommend a grip with the shape of the red star, looking down from the top, with a flat front? Looking for something around 75 to 100 cc in rubber with a similar feel to the pro only grips. The golf pride SNSR contour is a nice shape but it is too soft and the color is awful. Pure midsize looks right but I’m worried it may be to squishy. Lambkins sink fit skinny has the same problem as the red star grip.

Thanks

The red star is identical to the Ping PP58/PP58 Midsize made by Golf Pride. Which makes me wonder: Did Ping design the PP58?

Like the Grip not as firm as I thought it would be , shape is excellent, DO NOT like the lines up the side , like painting flames ? on a Ferrari
