Oh I agree it isnt that bright. I guess a better word for me as a player is it's just too flashy..

Played 5 rounds with 6.5 tx straight in at around 110+ with a hard transition. I maybe I can’t give the shaft the proper flexing but I can’t tell any difference between it and pretty much any other shaft I played. I’m more of a indian than arrow type of guy so if I put a good swing on it I get a good result and bad swings gets a bad result..absolutely no surprises thou.

That being said it’s the prettiest shaft I have ever played and will continue to play it just for that fact and I’m the type of person that doesn’t care about color of walls or logos on balls etc..so that’s saying a lot for me.

Tried the TX, feels VERY different. I am not ultra fast but have played the T1100 60X for a long time and with huge success. The post about with the bend profile comparison certainly checked out in real life. The Hulk TX feels MUCH more like the T1100 than the regular X flex. I hit 11 fairways the first time out and was very, very pleased. At one point, I actually forgot that I had put the Hulk in mid-round bc I was swining so confidentially.

Also, I heard Cam Champ put this in the bag?! That's big news! I believe he had a nice finish at the Northern Trust, too.....

It all makes sense then. I had the fuji pro 2.0 TS in 6x like cam...now I'm loving hulk...lol this shaft gets more and more fun as u play it. Way more confidence pulling the driver- may be searching for a heavier version for the 3w to be honest

another round in the books with my epic flash SZ / Hulk setup - it loves to go straight or play a 10y cut; it CAN draw if you want it to -- but man does this thing just want to hold a line like crazy. i had a friend try mine and he thought with how stiff it should be that it would go right on him and he hit a seed down the left side of the fairway and faded back to the middle.

Comparison time: TZ5 75 M5 v Hulk (70 TX). I'm going to get tips put on both tomorrow and should have Trackman numbers up by Saturday. The loser will probably be on BST.

Hahaha! The Ventus will be extremely tough to beat, it’s a phenomenal shaft. But this being WRX and all, I can’t let a shaft get hyped this much and not try the dang thing ?

I did. Went hulk 60 TX from the PO 70 TX. The PO was just not jiving with me. Good swings felt like they were moving left or right way too much. Hulk feels tight compared to the PO. Not regretting it in the slightest.

I went from PO 70TX to Hulk 70 6.5TX. Hulk tightened up dispersion, spin was about the same, and I saw a slight increase in ball speed

minor observation - coming from my fuji pro 2.0 TS -- i'm getting a bit more ballspeed with the hulk. between 2-3 on average.

So I was able to spend quite a bit of time on a GC2 this morning comparing the Hulk and TZ5 (both were tipped 1 inch and play exactly 45 inches in my TS driver.

Here are the results:

* **TZ5 75 M5**:

* SS: 119.9 mph

* Ball Speed: 173.9 mph

* LA: 14.4 degrees

* Backspin: 2,858

* Carry: 304 yards

* Total: 323

* **HZRDUS Green 70 TX**:

* SS: 120.5

* Ball Speed: 174.7 mph

* LA: 14.9 degrees

* Backspin: 2,571

* Carry: 316 yards

* Total: 337

I was also a little more accurate with the Hulk, so that was the winner for me.

Yep, the clear winner is the HULK, with the added bonus of tighter dispersion. Thanks for the information, my Hulk was just delivered. Time to get it cut, tipped, and see what it's got.

Was your PO tipped and did you tip the Hulk? Thinking about moving from PO 70tx tipping 0.5” to the hulk 60 TX. Just not sure about tipping.

Automatically tipping these low/low shafts is a mistake imo. Can’t apply the same tipping standards as other shafts either

I know the big hitters need to do it. But I wonder how many guys ruined a good shaft by overtipping - I know I ruined many!

I’m playing all my woods/driving irons straight in. I’d never think it, but it’s been way better than my tip stiff fetish of old

If I had not hit my friends' 70tx hulk, I would've kept mine straight in. His wasn't tipped and it felt like it launched a touch high for me. since I got the 60TX, i wanted to bring it down. Tipped it accordingly. I completely agree with u tho - a lot of people tip without knowing what it COULD do in advance

I had my 70 6.5TX tipped an inch. I was going to leave it untipped, based on some of the info here, but my clubfitter said to tip it. He knows my swing and worked in the TM tour truck for years, so I trust him. Tipped an inch feels absolutely perfect for me -- not as stiff as I would have expected.

My fitter at Club Champion said the same. I needed to tip at least an inch because it’s softer than expected! > @Weston11 said:

Where are you guys getting this shaft is soft ? I am honestly intrigued. I have a 70tx tipped 1” and one tipped 1.25”. The 1” tipped shaft measured at 295 cpm with a grip on and in a 5” clamp. The 1.25” was 301 cpm the same 205 gram clubhead. Which isn’t light. Both builds at 45.25” My 80tx in my 218 gram fairway is 308 cpm @ 43”. These shafts are stiff as they come. It’s just great material makeup making these feel smooth.
