Titleist ts1

So functionally, with the four models out there, to what type of golfer is each model suited? I have been knocking around the idea of a new driver, currently play a 913d of some flavor (the smaller head size between the two versions). Been looking at the Hogan driver just from a cost standpoint but am now interested in the Titleist models since you can get fit at a demo day or Edwin Watts for them.

If the TS1 is for slower swingers what are the others for? I swing hard and fast and distance is not normally an issue (280+ carry (no wrx humblebrag, it is legit)) but direction is. I have a two way miss, though it is typically a push or hook. I like the ability to work it both ways, and know how to, and have done it at one point on cue consistently, but consistency is not consistent if you get what I mean. My 10 yard cut can turn into a balloon slice easily. Draw follows the same formula if I am not playing a bunch to keep timing in form.

I would say the ts1 is not for you. I would say ts3 based oh your want to work the ball. Head shape is very d3ish as well as performance.

You're right, I'm likely totally off base and no one would have an issue with that at all...

LMK when your platform and reach matches his, or at least read the comments from the video, ya know, kinda proving that dam point all over again...

Absolute garbage. Titleist will gain sales and a whole new demographic with the introduction of the ts 1. They are a hell of a lot smarter than you and the you tube sensation Rick Shiels.

Lol, they are a Ball company, nothing more, they almost make more in clothing and gloves sales than clubs. If they had to rely on club sales to survive they would have been out of business 20 years ago...

First, the 907 line only had two models that were released to retail, the others were tour only.

Next, the 975 line spanned 5 years (longer if you count the 976R) and releases were very different from one another so I wouldn't really consider them the same line even though they share a common name designation (there were also tour only prototypes that escape me as well):

975D - 1998

975J - 2001

975J-VS / 975L-FE - 2002

What is unprecedented for Titleist is more than 3 models released in the same product cycle especially in such a short amount of time. I personally don't mind more choices but I am scratching my head a bit as the TS1 seems to be a bit redundant considering that the head weight difference vs the TS2 isn't that drastic (they could have created a hollow filler weight for the back and offered the lower weight shafts as stock options for this target demographic).

Several incorrect years on the Titleist archive page not to mention models from the past 10-15 years completely missing (907d1/d2, 503h, 585h, ZM irons). Google reviews of the 905T/S and you will see dates in 2005. 2006 is correct for the R.

I myself, have already preordered a TS4, but be careful, this TS1, in a very low loft and paired with a low/low shaft like a Black Tie or Pro White may be a very forgiving bomber.....

I would worry more about the loft of your driver. Then something that is super lightweight. Maybe demo something in the 12 degree range? Or 10.5 turned up. Sounds like you have decent swing speed. Going super light would probably effect your timing negatively. But you never know.
