Just unwrapped mine. It looks 1000 times better in person. I like the new grip. It feels good in my hand. Its softer than my Button Back. I can't wait to get it on the course on Friday! BTW - my pictures stink!

It looks like the polymer around the insert has not been cleaned up properly in that lower photo, or maybe its the light/angle or something....i hope its not poorly cleaned polymer, but if it is, it is definately not the desired finish you would expect from a scotty cameron or a putter that costs $600...

they are coming with a film over the insert to protect the finish. i assume but can barley tell if the plastic film is still on there. i hope it is and that's not the final product they sent out.

Yeah clear plastic comes over the insert and the sole.

Just received my Newport. Definitely softer than my button back. Also suits my eye better with the white slightline on satin black. It’s a beauty and rolls amazingly well.

These I don't think will be that crazy hard to track down if you move fast on the 16th (if you didn't pre order one)

Availability is all over the place IMO. My local world wide golf shop (who is one of the bigger stores around here) said their stock has now been pulled and they will not be getting any because of the oversell with online orders. One of their other locations that pre-sold 4 said they will only be getting in 1 tomorrow and are hopeful the other 3 will eventually come, if not then refunds will be issued. My local golf galaxy also said they will not be getting any as they have now been allocated elsewhere. I am beginning to question the stories of widespread availability given what I am now hearing.

No one is touching them here in Sweden. I got the 34 and 35 model of all three at my local golfstore. Thinking about buying them and sell but if they dont get sold at 600$ here I cant see why I would get more, lol.

If I could find a NP2 reasonable priced ($750), I'd buy it. I want one to use, not to flip. I'm still using the original NP2 teryllium.
