Pace of Play..shot clock.

Set the rules and follow them. Simple enough. If it is bothering a growing number of your cohorts on the tour, I would imagine something needs to click in your head that it is a problem. If De Chambeau or Jb Holmes cant figure out that they are slow, then then obviously put a damn time keeper on them or let the other players in their group call for a time keeper and do it that way.

I went to this tournament and its a bit of a scam. They let the players stuff around get the yardages, look at the line on putts and the shot clock then starts AFTER all this has happened.

You don't need an official w/ every group. There are already 18 officials 1/hole on a golf cart already doing the timing of every shot. They have access to walking scorer channel and know extenuating issues.

All that is needed is a change of rules and/or enforcement of them.

 

Fyi, the shot clock has already been used in european tour several times. Not sure how successful its implementation has been to remedy the slow play.

LOL yes! When time expires, the sharp shooter pulverizes the golf ball. Double Par. That'd be pretty awesome actually. Guarentee pro's would be on time.

LOL.....I don't get the obsession with this topic on here. Why do some care how long it takes the pro's to play a round of golf?

 

It is a venue set up for TV coverage and the stakes are much different than the weekend hacker faces. They play a different game.
