What is your wedge set up?

Learn to embrace the 56. I use to just use 52 and 60, but started hitting partial swings with 56 instead of fuller swings with 60. I have way more control of spin and trajectory now from 90 and in.

45*, 50*, 54*, 58*. It took me a long time to move away from the 60* because it did offer me the ability to play more lob shots but it was truly terrible for my gapping. With the 58* I have a more viable club for fuller shots, which I find far easier than attempting to hit partial 54* wedges given the amount of golf I play. If I played on some super sloped or speedy greens I would probably consider a 62* or 64* and drop a hybrid, but for the courses I play a 58* with a decent sole grind and a good golf ball is more than enough.

44* set PW, 48*, 52*, 56*, 60*. Looks like I have 5 wedges, but to me 48* is a pitching wedges. Loft jacking in modern irons has an easy solution....more wedges.

I've got big-bounce Vokey (should say gone *back* to big-bouce Vokey). My iron set ends at 45-degree PW then it's Vokey 50.12F, 54.14F, 58.12K.

I'm probably going to bend the 54.14 to 55.15 whenever I get around to driving to the guy across town who does good club-tech work.

I was 47 (PW) 52, 56. I switched to that because I thought I felt more comfortable with a traditional 3-PW iron set up. I realized after a few rounds that I never needed a 3 iron for anything, and wanted a little more loft at the bottom of the bag for greenside chips. So I'm now 45 (PW), 50, 54, 58.

I’m starting to have the same realization about my 3 iron but I already have 3 wedges and don’t really know how I’d cram a 4th in there.

46 degree pitching wedge. 50 degree gap wedge... currently have a 56 and 60 sand wedge and lob wedge... I'm going to move to 54 and 58 when I get new clubs, I think... Originally the 54 was going to be my sand wedge, but I was having an easier time in the sand with my 60 today, so I might have the 58 be my sand wedge and my 54 my attack wedge. I'm not sure exactly what my plan is.

I'm running the JPX 900 forged irons with a 45 degree PW. It makes sense to me to run 5 degree gaps so my next 3 wedges are 50, 55, and 60. All are Mizuno T7 wedges with Nippon 120 S shafts. I also like the bounce to be around 10 degrees. I feel that bounce angle gives me the best versatility for the every day conditions around here in Central California.

49-54-60

I don't hit a 56 far enough to be useful, and all short chips and pitches are with my 60

The 54 was a great addition, as I can hit front 90-110 pretty accurately

Why do you only carry 13. Why not just fill that extra spot with anything?
