JB Cold Weld as epoxy

Yep that's what I use (gorilla glue epoxy). I've used it on drivers and irons an have yet to have an issue. Pulled many shafts and they all come out great.

Well I’m 8 years late apparently but I think it’s time to try JB Kwik for a driver shaft with adapter. I’m tired of golfworks and Brampton coming loose on hot days. Wish me luck. My heat gun goes up to 700 degrees or something crazy like that so I’m sure I’ll be ok.

You will be fine. The only problem is if you ever want that shaft to go in another adapter the driver shaft will be ruined.

Use Jb weld steel mix. I’ve never had it fail. Shafts can be removed with no issue later too with an extractor for graphite. Steel shafts just take em out. I just removed this set of graphite’s yesterday. The second shaft pic all had adapters on them. Never had any issue with this stuff. Probably shafted 1500 clubs with this.

This thread is a great reminder to never buy clubs that weren't built by an OEM.

With over 10 years of wisdom accumulated on this thread…I got that and concur buy clubs in all original bone stock including that slick grips LOL

 

Still clear as fog regarding the original question…
