No direct Apple to Apple comparison but I had the rtx 4’s in raw. 54* in med bounce and 60* low bounce with s400s. Couldn’t get rid of them fast enough. Bought vokey sm7s. I found the vokeys better looking and softer. I got the 54* f grind 14 and the 60* d grind 12 in S300s. To be fair it could have been the bounce and shaft differences.

F grind in the SW is very underrated. I find it an unbelievable club.

The 50 that I have is mid but it’s basically the F grind as it has no trail edge grind. It’s fantastic through the turf and has me seriously considering the F in the other lofts.

It was a no brainer for me during my demo. The RTX4 worked with the v-sole and your getting a S400 Tour Issue shaft. The head size and offset were correct .

Unless you really want a traditional full sole?

I switched this year from the SM7 to the RTX4 because 1) I liked the way the v-sole interacts with the turf, 2) I like the heavier, more stable, feel of the Cleveland, and 3) the face milling/grinding gives me incredible spin control. I've got 50* mid, 54* mid, and 60* low in the bag most days, and 56* mid and 62* mid that go in when I play courses with faster greens.

I went with both! 50 and 54 in RTX4 because I think the sole grind for full swing shots is money. They just seem to glide through the turf. The distance control is unreal. I have the 58K SM7 raw because the K grind is stupid easy out of bunkers. It works better than sure out for me. I look like a lot better bunker player than I really am.

I also chose the RTX4 over the SM7 for all the reasons chickwebb mentioned above. I have the 56 mid and 60 low in the bag.

I had the exact opposite experience. In a surprising turn, I truly disliked the SM7's, pretty much any grind. I have played Vokeys for years, but prefer the RTX4 over SM7 all day long
