Fairway wood shaft

Having a difficult time trying to decide which shaft to go with for the Epic Flash Sub Zero 3 wood. I'm looking for a low launch and low spin shaft in the 80 g range. Callaway doesn't have some of the shafts in the 80 g range that I would prefer so it's rather difficult trying to decide which shaft without being able to hit all of these before ordering. Shafts I'm considering based on few shafts in the weight range I'm looking for are:

 

Project x hzrus yellow 85

Fujikura pro 2.0 tour spec 8

Graphite Design Tour AD TP-8 or IZ-8

 

Just looking for thoughts on these shafts for anyone that has used them or if you have any other shaft ideas from Callaway's site for x-flex. My 3 wood swing speed is 110-115 mph range. GD Tour AD TP seems like it would be best for me but does have the most expensive upcharge and I haven't heard much about it compared to the IZ. Would like to buy an 80 g Tensei Pro Orange or White but can't find them for the Epic Flash Subzero fairway. Can buy the 70 g but have that weight for my driver so it doesn't seem ideal.

Just my .02 but I wouldn't put the HZRDUS yellow in the low/low category. I know that's what ProjectX labels it as, but I'd call it more of a mid. No experience with the others, but the IZ is supposed to be a high launcher by all accounts.

 

Looking at the Cally offerings, I see the HZRDUS Smoke is available in the 80G range. Not uber low/low like the black, but it's said to be on the lower end of the range, but I have no idea how it compares to the yellow at the moment.

HZRDUS smoke black doesn't have specs online for the 80 but feel that the torque will be too high for my liking. I was about to just get the Yellow but after reading a lot about them they seem to spin higher as well. The GD AD TP seems good with the specs for what fits me generally but I can't find anything about that shaft review wise.

I just received my TS3 with smoke black 80 - specs are 3.0 torque, 81g. All indicators from initial testing is this plays close to the HZRDUS black 75 I have in my LTD 4-5 wood. Very tight dispersion for me.

Currently play AD TP 8x in rogue 3 wood at 42.5”...SS with 3 wood 105-108 mph... best 3 wood shaft i have ever played and i get good launch off the deck, in a 5 wood it did launch too high for me at least.

If you haven’t hit the TP before, it feels like a more stable AD DI, you still feel the shaft loading and there is a distinct whipping through the ball, but much less than the DI. The AD DI I couldn’t use but the TP felt good, just make sure they get the tipping right.

Yeah I've hit the DI before and I can't play that shaft. Do you know the specs for the AD TP 8x like torque and exact weight in g?

86.5 grams weight and torque is 2.6

If you like a shaft that has a more linear load where you don’t feel one distinct part bending more, the new Aldila ATX Tour Green graphene proto is really awesome.

Of those you list, I would certainly opt for the Pro 2.0 Tour Spec. I have the TP in my driver. It is not a low launch shaft. I would put it in the mid category compared to the DI you mentioned.

Not to hijack this thread, but I'm looking for a new fairway shaft as well. I currently have the AD IZ 7X in my 3 wood (used largely for tee balls) and was hoping you guys could recommend me something in the 80 gram range that will be lower flighted. As it stands my 3 wood with the IZ 7X just launches too high for my taste and I hit it as far as my 2 iron.

Tensei white or blue 80tx best shafts ive played in a long time but they are pricey but IMO well worth it!!!!!

Ugh I had a feeling that would be towards the top of the suggestions haha! No used versions on ebay currently, but I'll keep an eye out. I've always wanted to try the tensei white.
