I quit selling on the BST mainly because of all the low ball offers. Even if you are practically trying to give somthing away someone wants it for cheaper than advertised. Lots of 50% of asking price offers. Then they get butt hurt when you don't respond to their lowball offer!!!! Lol

I would rather give my stuff away to friends.

Being in the car business for a long time I figure I’ve probably heard most of the buyer’s stock lines. My favorite was always, “well, brand X is offering it for this much”. I’d always say well then you’d better hurry over there and buy it before someone beats you to it. Got so sick of hearing that crap.

I had a DS pair of concord 11 golf shoes listed on here a few months ago, newb sends me a PM basically saying he’ll pay me what I paid for them and no more and that i should take the deal just because and that is never sell them at my price. Send him a response that just said “LOL” and blocked him.

Just list it higher than you want. Negotiate down to what you really want. This is how second hand markets work. For the most part, unless you have something that is very limited supply (i.e. you can't find it anywhere) the buyer has most of the power. Cash is king.

The market helps dictate price. If you price according to ebay recent sales for Buy It Now (and free shipping) you'll have way more success selling there than here. The amount of lowballers here is ridiculous. Sorry, I'm not giving handouts to cheapskates.

I just sold 3 items on EBay and also listed here on the BST. I set my prices on the BST about 10-15% lower than on EBay given that there’s no fees. Despite the lower prices here, I got several lowballs and never could get a serious buyer. I used to sell all the time on WRX but not anymore.
