Yeah, I'm pretty bummed. Dude's a warrior but took a beating.

A big plus with Brisset will be his mobility.

Back to Luck, he was a great ambassador for the Colts, their fans, the city and the state. He was great.

Nothing got the crowd going more than a Luck naked bootleg.

Thanks for everything, Andrew, and forgive us for not having the o-line you deserved.

Just this moment I got a full sized pop up from walmart for something and then a smaller box. Just backspaced out. Some weird things going on around here.

Bob,

I agree with you. Too bad the Colts didn't start the Luck era with Ballard at GM, and Reich as head coach.

I guess we'll see how good of a Qb Brisset is, Also looks like Chad Kelly may make the team and get a 2nd chance in the league as well.

And to the Colts "fans" who booed Luck from the stands after hearing the news: Shame on you, and go jump on the Patriots wagon where you belong.

Football is a brutal sport. I think it's great, he is smart to realize he has another 40+ years in his body, and you don't get a new one. Embarrassing that some of the people boo-ed him. I hope he is successful in whatever he decides to pursue in the future. I always liked the guy, and I still do.

Did anyone else get motion sickness trying to follow the camera last night on NBC?

Brissett is barely a backup-quality QB. Nice guy, moves well, can't throw the ball worth garbage. Colts would be better off trading for Hoyer or waiting for the Pats to release him.

But he's a Colt so I'm backing him until he proves otherwise. New season. New opportunity. Fingers crossed.

Don't see Pats trading Hoyer unless they get somewhat of a haul. And he is really good at running second team.

If Stidham has looked good in practice this week, and looks good again tonight, look for Hoyer to be cut or traded. They have so much quality depth at other positions (CB, LB) and questions at receiver that it makes much more sense to keep an extra player at one of those positions than at QB.

The reality is that if Brady goes down for the season, they're not winning the SB, and they're going to play Stidham to figure out what they've got anyway. They need a backup QB who can hold the fort for a few games if Brady gets a minor injury. Right now it looks like Stidham could well be that guy, with some upside for the future. I'm a huge Hoyer fan, he's a borderline starter and probably the best backup QB in the league, but I don't see them keeping him unless Stidham screws the pooch (or has been doing so in practice lately). They're definitely not getting a haul for him, they've got no leverage if teams think they'll just cut him, and everyone around the league knows exactly what he is. No more than a 6th or a 7th, and they only get that if someone (like Indy) wants to make sure he doesn't get to waivers and get picked up by another team.

Nothing wrong with backing him, no matter how good or bad he is, given the situation. Hell, as a Pats fan, I've been forced to back guys like Tony Eason, Matt Millen, Marc Wilson, Scott Zolak, Tommy Hodson... I've just seen enough of him that I don't think he'll ever be a good NFL QB. Nice guy, I hope he proves me wrong, but I don't see it happening.

Good points but I still see The Hoodie wanting to have Hoyer around and let Stidham sit and learn.

Tough deal for Houston. I’m a hawks fan so I’m happy to see we didn’t give up much for Clowney. Even if it’s only for one year it’s worth the trade.

Just an awful deal for Houston. WTF were they thinking?? Their whole new management team should be fired. Seahawks fans should be thrilled.

I didn’t even read who you were referring to though this was the Stillers to a tee???

Now the Raiders get to experience the social media midget, Antonio Brown, up close and personal??

I looooove it, hahaha

As I stated in my previous post, I lost all respect for Jon Gruden when he signed the midget, who, while he is arguably one of the top 1-2 WRs in the league, he is a cancer and no team can be a Championship caliber team with him on the roster.

Oh boy, this is gonna be fun to watch??

Stay well & stay tuned Gents?

Cheers?

RP
