Chrome soft X triple track

Ok, I have found out from a very, very good sources that the triple track ball sold retail is different from the regular chrome soft x. It is in fact the same ball the Phil played. I am tried it, and it indeed perform different. It is firmer, spins more but flights lower. I am going to cut some open to see what the inside looks like to try and confirm that they or different or I have been tricked and it is simply a placebo.

No not that at all. I had not seen where they have brought this specific thing up. Have they?

They mentioned it in their podcast a few months ago (don’t recall which episode). Also mentioned in various comment sections of their site and social media platforms. Here is the quote that they claim came from a senior Callaway employee:

 

_“CSX Triple Track is a different ball that we had tested with Tour players and is our most played ball on tour so we wanted to update it with the launch of Triple Track on CSX…The CSX TT is a slightly firmer core compression with a softer cover and a slightly different spin profile.”_

it definitely flew further for me on drivers than regular ones, I think it is lower spin and lower flight

Well, there you have it. I don't go on there much so I was unaware. I just didn't see it brought up here. From whAt I heard Callaway plans on this being the new ball, and didn't really advertise it because it may hurt the sales of the existing ball line.

I’m a big fan of the regular CS and play them regularly but have been intrigued by the Triple Track for awhile. It’s kind of confusing as to why they’re not doing this on that ball and just the Xs. So i ordered a few to give them a trial run.

It is because the chrome soft x and chrome soft x triple track are different balls.
