Indian Ridge is in really great shape this morning. The greens are rolling so good, the fairways and tee boxes are lush and cut perfectly. Sucks people can't fix their ball markd but tgats not the course's fault.

Just played there a couple weeks ago, course was in good shape, as usual, but we’ve had lots of rain. If you’re not straight off the tee you’re in for a long day. Almost every hole is lined with trees. They do have a practice area, definitely not a full range though. There is a par 4 that has a huge, let’s call it a dip, in the fairway, definitely lay up about 160-170 and you’ll have a good look at the green, you can see it coming up the previous hole so look out for it. If you go driver and find yourself at the bottom of this dip, you’ll have a difficult, severely uphill approach shot.

If you're talking about 16, I'll disagree. The play is driver over the tree and try to make birdie with a wedge from the hill. The green is too small and lay ups often get blocked out by the tree. If you're talking about 17, then you're 100% right to stay on top of the hill. IF you can reach the bottom of the hill on 17, which would be a big tee shot, then it's tough to get the wedge to spin and stop close from the bottom of the hill.

Well they are doing a shotgun start so depending on where I start and how my day is going I might be in the eff it I'll try anything stage lol

Quarry is definitely a nice course they just hosted a golfweek am tour event on Saturday that I'd planned on playing but my game isn't anywhere near where I'd like it to be at the moment so I opted to skip it and played a scramble at spring valley it's a fun track to play greens are good shape and fast as they always are. I played my league there for the past couple years till this year when I joined a new league at Sable creek.. I miss the money those guys would throw around at my spring valley league though

Played stonelick hills saturday afternoon, while course looked green and to be in amazing shape it was super soft and wet. Regulars we played with said it is always soft and wet. Find this hard to believe in late August. Had multiple balls plugging in middle of fairway! Greens were ok where they weren't soft and bumpy. My favorite course in the area, not sure now though if you get negative roll and you sink in everywhere!

I played Sunday and couldn't believe how wet the place was. Almost to the point of concern for root rot of the sod. Course has seen a ton of play recently (likely due to the lack of courses of similar quality/layout in the area) and it kinda showed.

yeah it has always been my favorite course and not sure I will go back this year or for the years to come! It is a shame too it is a great track and layout. I think they are more concerned with keeping the course green then being playable

Heard the other day Cook's Creek is in horrible shape and is going to be turned into a park. Any truth to that?
