Just saw on Mizuno Europe YouTube channel that Voshall did say he'd take the RAW wedge. So I hope that confirms they are being released.

It's always been confirmed. It does have to be ordered though as in it won't be in store stocked.

The T7s were very good (still have my 50/56/60 in blue), but the raw T20 sound like a dream come true!

 

If these are not sold retail, does that mean you need to order through a fitter? Will they cost more than the Blue and Satin versions?

I hope they’re available in Raw at retail. If they are I will probably get them over the MG2 since they come with TI S400s at no upcharge. TM really should’ve done the same with the MG2s, especially since they increased the price from 149 to 169

The raw option will be a custom option only, no price difference.

Super excited for this release. As much as I love the raw look, I think I’m gonna go for the chrome based on the quote below from the original write up.

 

“Don’t think for a second that Mizuno just changed the etching and was done with it. The process went through multiple iterations to figure out how they could improve its life (beyond the boron) and the solution was to etch before the chroming process to elongate the lifespan.”

 

Seems like the chrome finish will make the new vertical etching last longer.

Can’t make my mind up whether to go Chrome or Raw. Raw definitely looks better but not sure what happens long term. Love to hear people’s thoughts on which finish they would go for?

I'd say Vokey with a pinch more weight in the head. Def not heavy like the Taylor Made and Callaway wedges I've hit.

Yes. All models will have the raw option. 46* all the way to 60*

I believe the official release date is September 20th. Pre orders start before that sometime.

TXG uploaded their review of the T20's today, they sound fantastic, and also showed that the stock shaft will be the Dynamic Gold S400 Tour Issue.

Raw is available for everything in RH as a custom order.
