1) What does it feel like when you’re putting well?

-- It feels like "throwing a ball". The motions obviously are quite different but when I throw a ball, I don't have to think... I just throw it naturally and that is what good putting feels like to me.

2) What is the biggest challenge when you’re putting poorly?

-- Frustrations at times can creep into other aspects of my game.

3) What is your handicap?

1) What does it feel like when you’re putting well?

Putting well isn’t something I normally do, I am hot and cold. While on the upward trajectory putting feels easy, and unstressed.

2) What is the biggest challenge when you’re putting poorly?

3 foot putts. They scare me to death when I am downward trajectory.

3) What is your handicap?

5ish

The Questions

1) What does it feel like when you’re putting well?

Like I can’t miss. Ball rolls perfectly without alignment line wobble.

2) What is the biggest challenge when you’re putting poorly?

Can’t get that alignment line to not wobble. Nothing goes in.

3) What is your handicap?

+1 to -1

Some flavor of the month driver.
Some driving iron for Links courses.

A hybrid to save my bad shots.
Titleist blades when I feel lucky otherwise something more forgiving.
A Vokey wedge or 2.
I hate every one of my 17 putters.

1) What does it feel like when you’re putting well?

When I'm putting well there is a very consistent flow to my stroke, it's very un-hurried and the roll on the ball seems to be better than when I'm putting poorly. Putting well for me isn't always about holing tonnes of putts, it's about great pace and seeing the ball roll true on the intended target line.

2) What is the biggest challenge when you’re putting poorly?

The path of the face. When I'm putting poorly I feel as if the blade gets outside the line going back producing a cut stroke, poor pace and a miss low or right. I feel as if alot of my stroke quality is deterimed on the way back so the biggest challenge is getting the putter set and making a relaxed confident stroke. I've putted below average for huge portions of my golf career and it's been a constant struggle to gain confidence, improve technique and improve my green reading.

3) What is your handicap?

5.7

1) What does it feel like when you’re putting well? **When I am putting well, it feels like my arms are working in unison with the putter. My hands are quiet, and the hole starts looking much larger.**

2) What is the biggest challenge when you’re putting poorly? **My distance control is usually solid, but when my putting is off, I am burning edges (both sides) all day. It is hard to be confident when you are missing on both sides.**

3) What is your handicap? **6**

I am following on Twitter. After watching the videos and reviewing your website, your putters make a lot of sense. Thanks for the opportunity!

1) What does it feel like when you’re putting well? I stroke the ball without thinking to much, pick my line, feel the speed needed and roll it.

2) What is the biggest challenge when you’re putting poorly? Alignment. Then I start overthinking and focus on different aspects of the stroke.

3) What is your handicap? 6

1) What does it feel like when you’re putting well? The ball feels like it comes off the face the perfect speed in sync with the tempo of my stroke from back and through.

2) What is the biggest challenge when you’re putting poorly? Finding the right rhythm to my stroke to match the speed of the greens for proper distance control.

3) What is your handicap? 6

**1) What does it feel like when you’re putting well?**

When I am putting well it feels like my stroke is compact and delivers the face of the putter to the back of the ball with just a little bit of "hit" and _without_ my right hand pushing the face left on an aggressive arc.

**2) What is the biggest challenge when you’re putting poorly?**

The biggest challenge when I'm putting poorly is getting back my distance control; my stroke will get too much arc and my miss will be out towards the toe, causing inconsistent strikes that leave me in a world of hurt on my clean-up putts. Knowing I just made a bad stroke that resulted in a poor putt, and then having to make a six-footer (or worse), sends me into a downward spiral of getting technical and stiff, leading to even more missed putts!

**3) What is your handicap?**

1.4

1) What does it feel like when you’re putting well?

* Consistency. The ball goes where I expect it to. I only have to worry about my speed.

2) What is the biggest challenge when you’re putting poorly?

* Managing misses. When I'm "off" it feels I have to start manipulating the putter and fooling around with my grip to stop twisting the face. I start pushing putts then pulling, then confidence is just totally lost.

3) What is your handicap?

* 5

1) What does it feel like when you’re putting well?

Feels like I can make the ball do what I want. I see the putting lines in my head and the putter is just an extension of my mind.

2) What is the biggest challenge when you’re putting poorly?

Distance control. Not trusting my hands either results in my blowing a putt 10 feet past, or 5 ft short.

3) What is your handicap?

1) What does it feel like when you’re putting well? Putting well to me is getting the ball going on the right line without any quirks in my stroke. I can putt well but have misreads. It's about tempo and feel.

2) What is the biggest challenge when you’re putting poorly? Opening the putter face on the take away and making contact on the heel side of the sweet spot.

3) What is your handicap? 9.5

The Questions

1) What does it feel like when you’re putting well? -- everything looks correct, the feel is almost automatic. Back and forth feels smooth.

2) What is the biggest challenge when you’re putting poorly? Burning Edges and 20-40 footers.

3) What is your handicap? Playing .5 but i am a 2.

Question for the manufacturer, does the clubhead of the mallet version completely lay flat?

Hopefully a whole new setup coming soon!

1) What does it feel like when you’re putting well?

Reading greens are easy. Pick point shoot. The stroke is tempo’d and pure. The ball is dying in the hole.

2) What is the biggest challenge when you’re putting poorly?

Usually a speed issue for me. Some days my stroke feels quick and shaky.

3) What is your handicap? 1

I’ve been eyeing the DF putter for sometime. Almost pulled the trigger on a custom order! I’ve developed my own way of putting. Short, upright, heavy/counterbalanced putter.

Works for me...

1) What does it feel like when you’re putting well? Best part of my game!

Feels like the ball just gets in the way of the putter head flowing into the hole.

2) What is the biggest challenge when you’re putting poorly?

Green reading or course conditions

Oh man, when I’m putting well, it’s like I can see the lines on the green. I know where the ball needs to go and can put it there. Does not happen often.

When I’m putting poorly, I just focus on speed and hope I didn’t misread the putt. I focus on minimizing disaster.

Handicap: I’m a five. It should be lower.

1. When putting well, the full swing becomes easier and I just want a look at birdie. There is freedom and confidence in the stroke. Sadly this doesn’t happen enough!

2. When struggling, it’s the opposite. Biggest challenge for me is speed control because of a tentative stroke.

3. Handicap is +3.

Thanks for the opportunity!

1) What does it feel like when you’re putting well? It feels like I just need to get in on the green and I'll have a good score. Leads to better drives since I'm not thinking about the 3 putt I just had when I step on the tee.

2) What is the biggest challenge when you’re putting poorly? Directional control, feel like I'm lag putting instead of trying to make putts.

3) What is your handicap? 12

1) What does it feel like when you’re putting well?

Slow and smooth stroke. Backstroke the same speed as forward stroke with a deliberate transition.

2) What is the biggest challenge when you’re putting poorly?

Just the opposite. Quick and punchy stroke, too fast a transition. Quick, choppy stroke makes distance control difficult and manipulated face angle.

3) What is your handicap?

1) What does it feel like when you’re putting well? When I am putting well, I know I am hitting the center face of the putter most of the time and my aim and distance control are spot on.

2) What is the biggest challenge when you’re putting poorly? Sometimes I get a little quick in my takeaway which effects my through stroke. Also my distance control can be a culprit, so getting that dialed in can take some work.

3) What is your handicap? 13
