1 1/2 clubs short is what, 15-18 yards? That's an astonishing difference in distance off an iron. I've played at least 20 rounds with K3's and have never noticed anything like you note.

My distances are off right now as I'm probably swinging 80 percent at best right now, had a ruptured tricep repaired, and have only gone 3 times since getting out of a cast. No noticeable distance differences between the two, and my best drive was about 280 with the Ksig 3 piece. Last year my longest drive of the year was about 340 with the Ksig 3 piece, though I do prefer the bite on the green of the 4 piece more.

Thanks! I'm getting there, even took a few small divots yesterday with no pain, pretty happy about that! Learned a valuable lesson this year, you can get hurt snowboarding in deep powder!!

Yeah, I was pretty shocked. They were at best a full club short for me compared to Ksig, Chrome Soft or ProV1x.

I played several holes to really get a pretty good idea.

I found wedge and short iron shots with a K3 to come up something like 6-10 yards short into a stiff breeze. Just because of spinning and upshooting. But no lack of distance with no wind.

The 4pc K-Sig seemed pretty much like other similar balls (Pro V1x, TP5X, etc.) and neither longer or shorter than usual.

My local Costco (Orland Park Il ) has K3's in stock limit 2, Which like I said before is strange when you have no limit online. The buy three with free shipping is no longer available from what I can see.

Over the weekend I pulled the Project a's outta the bag and went back to the beloved KSigs. The course we played was a bit windy and the ball performed amazingly well. Maybe it was a few lucky shots but I was easily getting 10 yards+ with nearly every iron and unintentionally flew several greens. They're back in the bag through the rest of the year or until it gets really cold.

That's amazing. They are listed as being "sold by Walmart" and they show qty=4 available in stock. They're listed as a single dozen, not the Costco double dozen package.

The story of these balls gets curiouser and curiouser.

For two dozen, not one dozen.

The confusion is how a KIRKLAND product, a Costco store brand, is being sold at Walmart. I've never heard of that happening before.

Yikes...missed that completely!

Apparently there's a ton of Kirkland products at Wally World...

Curiouser and curiouser.

I'm wondering if maybe Costco is happy to supply KIRKLAND products to other retailers but at a price that makes it impossible for them to match Costco's price. If so, it's another piece of brilliant business from the folks at Costco. You sell to your members and then turn around and make money on Walmart shoppers who aren't even Costco members. Nice work if you can get it!
