Amazing streak of bogie free holes. She currently has 106 holes without a dropped shot. She has only 4 double bogies this season in 67 rounds. I believe Judy mentioned that she has fewer than 10% bogie holes (98 in 1206 holes).

She's missed one cut in 42 events played on tour (WBO 8/2/18). She currently leads in par 5 scoring average (4.57), ahead of the longer hitters.

She's closing in on Annika's 2002 and 2004 scoring average record of 68.697. She's currently averaging 68.810.

If you are trying to win events it’s not bad

Sadly however much of the golfing world won't hear about it or even care if they do. I was telling my golfing buddies about it this weekend and they all just said "who??" She's the most dominant player in golf currently and most don't even know her name.

Women's golf just doesn't get the same attention or respect it deserves.

Not a fan of the tiger comparison. No one compares major or tour wins between the lpga and pga. To me she set the lpga record and tiger set the pga one.

I think they are absolutely comparable. It's a mental thing that is beyond imagining to most people, and JYK's went for longer than Tiger's! What a feat!!

They are a feat in their own but they happened on different tours.

There is an article on the LPGA website about Jin Young Ko and Annika-like play. It wasn't mentioned but Jin Young Ko has a sub-69 scoring average right now. If she can continue to post great scores the rest of the way, she would be the first person since Annika to post a 68.xxx average for the year.

Is the presumption the Ladies' Tour is a weaker Tour?

Wouldn't that then make JYK's feat more impressive, since it was done by a "weaker" player from a "weaker" tour?

PGA, LPGA, Champions..whatever..it's impressive.

Not saying the lpga tour is weaker but it’s a different tour. It’s comparing apples to oranges imo. Im not knocking what she did as I mentioned earlier both her streak and Tigers are both feats. Picking and choosing accomplishments between the two tours is silly.

No one would compare a consecutive cut made streak by an lpga player to tigers. No one compares Annika’s lpga tour wins to other pga players.

We just have to agree to disagree. I think they are absolutely comparable because of the psychological nature of this feat.

That is very true, but...

If Brooke or Lexi had done this, we would at least hear it in every five minutes on LPGA broadcasts.

If Paula would have done it she would have ended up on Good Morning America, time would have stood still, and she would probably get her very own " National Paula Creamer Day"..whoopee!
