TP5 Pix V.2 USA Edition

Great ball, one of my two favorites. Knew the "USA" edition was in the works, but it looks like they are finally starting to hit shelves in limited quantities. Some on eBay for stupid prices, but will look forward to grabbing some soon.

Looks to be the only competitor to the Callaway Truvis line -- which I know is quite popular in the yellow color though.

Nice. They should do a pix with ncaa logos as well. TM still needs to get with the program on premium yellow balls.

Lots of retailers are carrying them - easy to find with Google. Considering the first Pix version is now on sale for $35 per dozen, it’s hard to pass up a great score on the TP5. The new one is still great looking, but hope both will be around for a while.

Since the "regular" Pix is on sale now, grabbed six dozen at my local GG which came out to about $185 with some extra discounts. As cool as the USA version is, it's not $45/dozen cool right now. Still a great ball, whether you like it with the graphics or not.

Great looking, but why isn’t TM selling them at the same price 2/$70?

I didn’t even know about the USA ones until I saw them Thursday at GG.

Who knows, but hopefully it's not because the first version is being phased out for the second. Usually a year-end sale on balls means a new model is on the way. Same with Bridgestone - all the Tour B's are on sale as well to make room for the '20 release.

Yea Friday they were at my local golf shop and they popped up online at just about everywhere after I posted they were at Carl’s golf land

I don’t think the yellow/orange Pix sold as good as they thought they would. They aren’t the easiest to find in the rough or leaves. TP5s are on a two year cycle same as most tour balls. The Bridgestone came out in 2018, so yes the new 2020 ball will be coming from them.

Despite the science that went in to their design, I think this is exactly the case. I personally find them ridiculously easy to see, which is especially true at address for those of us that wear reading glasses but won't golf with them. With a new found affinity for the TP5 (and still really dig the project a), it's a no-brainer to stock up on these especially since the price is dropping like a rock. In any case, looking forward to seeing what comes out of it next year.

The Canadian version is even out now and all are $35/dozen again (two for $70, actually), which is a nice deal.

... I would agree. Just ordered 2 dozen to play in Phoenix this winter which is Canada South. At least 50% of the people I am paired up with are escaping the Canadian winter.
