XC6X with a Epic Flash Triple diamond 9.5 neutral setting.

Tested first time this morning using “floaters” range ball with normalized mode trackman data.

Spin numbers seemed to be quite high in comparison to GP6X but will need to do more testing on the range as well as on the course. Feel and loading characteristics reminded me of the original Matrix TPHD or a smoother version of Tensei CKPRO White

Interesting that is may be spinning more than GP. Should be able to do some testing next week.

Average swing speed 115mph. Driver being used was Callaway a Epic Flash Subzero 9degree N-S setting.

The iZ5X was a fun experimental testing on “lighter” X flex but apparently it simply threw the tempo out of sync. Tested the VR6X for warm up. It was good for the first 10 balls with 105mph swing speed and smooth transition. But any aggressive swing will results in overdraw and spin number went way up...

Weekend should be fun. On course testing with chrome soft X and TP5X

Tested one yesterday and my numbers were very similar to Tensei Pro Orange, it was about 250RPM more in spin, 15ft higher in peak height and within a couple yards of carry distance but 5-6 yards shorter for me in total due to the added land angle.

Overall very good feeling shaft, fairly smooth and I think it will be a winner for a lot of people and great for the stronger players in fairway woods in the heavier weights as well.

Tensei Pro Orange has been in my driver and 3 wood for just over 14 months now and I have tested pretty much everything and I can't beat it. Might be the longest I've had the same shafts in my bag since Speeder 757 and Pro 95 about 15 years ago.

@Morry I don’t have trackman numbers, just seeing performance. Based on what I see, the spin has to be quite close to one another, with the XC offering me and my swing a bit higher launch, generating that higher apex. Carry with the XC is better for me. They’re both long mated to the TS4.

Ever tried the IZ? I'm wondering how it would compare. I know the launches are different, but the IZ feels like a can't hit anything but a fade, the BB was nothing but straight bullets for me. Wondering how the XC would turn out

> @dmarabella13 Yup the IZ is a great shaft, for sure. I play an 8TX IZ in my fairway. The IZ launches higher, for me and my swing, than the XC. The XC is stouter. I don’t think it is as soft as the BB in the hands. If you like a BB, you’ll likely love an XC.

I had the IZ for driver once, as a point of clarity. I’d take the XC over it for driver all day long.

Still testing both shafts on course, 18 holes at the time.

Need smoother transition to load the XC

Still testing this, trying the 6x and finding some increase in speed as well as ball speed, spin is in a good/similar range to my TPO 70 TX just 20ft higher peak height or so. If i put it in play I'd likely go 6 X tipped 1" or so. The X flex feels better to me than the TX flex, smoother and slightly easier to load, not sure on the actual EI profile but i'd say the tip is close to the same stiffness but the butt end is much softer than the TX flex.

Seeing any on course differences between the 6x and 7x? I’m similar speed to you but can’t decide which weight to go with. I like 70ish which falls in the middle of these two. Looks like your ball speed and dispersion would better with the 7x

The 7X ended up in fairway metal #3. Straight in installation with 0.5” spare in case I need to tip. Still testing

Driver with XC6X is easier to load and control for multiple tournament days
