Did not know where to post this so I did it here--- Augie just texted me a few minutes ago and he is ok said to tell you guys that. Do not know details but do know he got a lot of rain and flooding. Said his internet service was out and cell phone service was spotty. But he did manage to text me. He will stay in touch with me when he can.

My end of the beach is ok but Myrtle has turned into basically an island with river flooding--- I can get in and out of Myrtle from where I am at but that is it basically. Just wanted to let you guys know

When is this going to be over ? Didn't the bulk of the storm passed ?

 

Stay safe and keep those golf clubs dry, would you ? Or the insurance company might put those totaled equipment on the auction next month ( like all those flooded vehicles ).

 

Feel sorry for one of my old neighbors whom retired and moved to Florida. We had plenty of drought and smoke from forest fire this past month, and the rain just started returning.

Wishing all you guys tough this one out. Mother Nature is not to be taken lightly when she's not her normal self.

 

We had wild fire up and down the West Coast including North of the border, for about a month or more we had orange colored Sun and fallen ash form the fire. Many of my friends avoided outdoor activities all together. Suffocating was not the word but for many it was close.

They say the change of temperature melted the ice on both the Poles, it then diluted the ocean water's composition, it then changed the flow of the current , which in terms changed the climate even more aggressively. The chain reaction is accelerating and the aggression of the changing will speed up once it started the chain reaction.

History said the cycle of change will come, hopefully not for hundreds of years like the past. Otherwise , some caveman will reinvent the game of golf in the future.

OK Bump here we are again not quite a year later---- Same old you know different year---- Augie sent me a PM yesterday and as SOP is riding it out again also. The SC gov ordered a coastal evac for yesterday mainly it being a holiday weekend to get the Tourons out and not letting others in---- But we are ready and once again riding it out----- As in tradition here with us I have REO Speedwagon dialed up and ready to play "Riding The Storm Out"

Talked to Augie about an hour ago--- They are ok so far--- They are getting the front wall harder than we did because the coast of NC where he is at sticks out further than we do. Both of us are also under Tornado watches too again them more so than us

Thanks man--- The little tropical depression is West of us but with the rotation we are getting drowned but we need it. As usual hunkered in and on here and jamming on U-Tube. Both dogs asleep one on right foot  the other one on my left foot. Riding the Storm Out as Usual
