Where are the toulon Las Vegas reviews?

Does anyone know the stock Las Vegas Stroke Lab putter head weight with a standard S20 weight? OMG, these weights should be made of gold for the prices they want! Someone at Odyssey told me the stock head weight was 253 grams. Obviously this person did not know what he was talking about. The entire putter at 34" with a Super Stroke Pistol 2.0, no counter weight. is approx. 500 grams. My Swag Suave at 34" and a 353 gram head at 34" with the same grip is 533 grams. If the Stroke Lab shaft is 40 grams less than a steel one something is way off. I really just wanted about 10 grams more and may just get some lead tape.

The Las Vegas Stroke Lab has been a real good fit for me, best summer of putting I have had ever. Might be the fact that I took time to get fit, but honestly I think it just works for me. SL tech seemed gimmicky but I can definitely feel the difference in my stroke, and distance control has consistently been better.

I bought one of these during the recent CPO sale and am highly impressed so far.

Looks:

Let me preface this by saying that I love the #7 headshape. IMO, this is one of the best looking putters at retail right now. The flow neck is beautiful and looks a lot cooler than the slant neck we see with a lot of the "flow neck mallets" out there. The overall milling of the putterhead appears to be of very high quality. The grip (I've got the smaller one) is nice. My only complaint looks-wise is the stroke lab shaft. I think the bi-matrix shaft looks a little dumb.

My rating for looks is a 9/10. The putter looks great and inspires confidence.

Feel:

The putter feels lovely. A nice, firm feel that lets you know what's going on. I much prefer this slightly firmer feel over both the O-Works (atrocious) and White Hot Micro-Hinge (slightly less atrocious) inserts. I think these inserts are terrible and have prevented me from buying a 7s in the previous releases.

My rating for feel is 10/10

Stroke Lab Technology:

Now, as I've mentioned above, I am not too keen on the looks of the SL shaft, but I feel there is a lot of merit to the technology. I feel my distance and stroke control improves significantly when using a SL putter in comparison to a "regular" putter. Also, I was worried that the putter would feel similar to a counter-balanced putter, but luckily, this is not the case for me. It doesn't feel overly heavy, just nicely balanced, if that makes sense. I hope Odyssey/Toulon find a way to improve the looks, because I believe a lot of people could benefit from Stroke Lab.

CPO accidentally sent me a slant neck H7 so I've been rolling that on carpet waiting for my double bend to come in.

The feel and roll is great. Control is a little off right now due to not being face balanced.

Once I can get on the course this weekend and hopefully roll the correct putter and try some distance control I may or may not be sold.

It's between the Las Vegas, and an O-Works Jailbird Mini right now.

I tried the Closer when I was at the PXG studio in Seattle and there is no comparison. The PXG to me felt cheap. The face didn’t have any feeling to it but the LV has a soft yet responsive feel. Plus imo the smoke finish on the LV is a lot more appealing than then the PVD finish of the PXG offerings

I would like my opinion. I own 3 putters. A las vegas h7, a lajosi dd201 and an odyssey jailbird mini s. The lajosi is custom and it is to celebrate the birth of my daughter. While i would to be better with it, i just have more confidence with a mallet.

played last year with the odyssey and ut was a boost of confidence. Something on how the head sit, the weight was putting me off. Decided to try the LV. When i got it, i wanted to sell it right away. Hated the stroke lab shaft and how it felt during the swing. Like it wanted to rotate more than i needed.

with some pratice, and patience, this putter is going nowhere. The feel of the face is just amazing. The three aid aligment lines are perfect for me. I installed a black shaft, the look is just amazing. Great product

I own a Toulon Las Vegas double bend without the Stroke Lab. I got it back in the middle of March, and I’m really enjoying it. i tried the Stroke Lab technology multiple times in PGA superstore and Golf Galaxy in various putters, and could never get the feel for it. Just felt off to me, so I went with a standard steel shaft.

My main putter the past few years has been a Kingston carbon KP1. I love the looks of it, and my distance control with it is very solid. My issues with it were with short putts, especially in the fall/winter when practice time gets cut short. I pulled way too many make-able short putts, and it really hurt my confidence.

I purchased an O Works #7 in the winter this year, and I was much more consistent with those short putts, but my lag putting got worse because of the softer feel.

The Toulon has helped with the lag putting while helping me with short putts. It’s a firmer feel that I’m used to, but it finds that balance of not feeling too firm.

I picked up a Toulon Las Vegas earlier this month and have been in a Spider X/Stroke Lab 7 prior to this. I feel like the Spider X was a little too 'hot' for my liking, whereas. The SL7 was great but again, for lag putting it was just a weird feel off the face and I felt kind of blind on anything outside 20 feet.

In direct comparison to my Las Vegas, the SL7 was a bit hotter off the face for me, but I felt like the Las Vegas has such a good feel to it that I'm able to control the distance much better. I currently have putts set up for 12 feet and a little slider. It's harder for me to control the speed/line with the SL7 than with the Las Vegas, maybe it's mental, but I feel more comfortable with the head overall.

I've also noticed the Las Vegas to have slightly shorter 'fangs' than the SL7.

All in all, the Las Vegas seems like a gamer to me

Well I was supposed to get a face balanced double bend las vegas but CPO said they are sold out of all of them after sending me TWO H7 slant necks.

I ended up trying out the H7 neck and even though I have a pretty SBST stroke, if I modify it a little bit with a looser stroke with a little arc I can hit some really nice putts.

The feel is great, but if all my other putters are face balanced double bends I fear this one may be too much to get used to.

A7 is the sole plate on mine. No idea what gram weight that is.

It felt a little heavier than my O Works #7 with 4g of lead tape on it. Same PING midsize cord grip on each. The O Works putter has a stepped shaft and the Las Vegas doesn’t, so I don’t know how much of a role that plays in it. I got used to the difference pretty quickly.

That makes sense with the weights. I didn't really pay attention to what the weights said on the Stroke Lab Toulon Las Vegas putters I've seen in PGA SS and Golf Galaxy.

My understanding is that the stroke lab is a counterbalanced design but the combo shaft makes it have a total weight similar to a standard putter. I am contemplating switching my SL shaft to a standard shaft, but that would make my head weight a good bit heavier than what Callaway would have built stock for a steel shaft. I would have to buy the lighter weight plate to off set the lack of counterbalance. Thanks for the help.

The stroke lab does feel somewhat counterbalanced to me when I’ve tried it, which is probably I never really cared for it. Counterbalanced putter just always felt off to me. Face still feels really good in the regular shaft and the stroke lab shaft. It’s just the balance of the putter that I didn’t care for.

I've seen some longer armlock Las Vegas' and they mostly have the 40g weight because of how much heavier the shafts are. To be honest, the counterbalanced SL shafts feel pretty good after rolling them for a week

I played with my new SL LV on Sunday and my putting was the only bright point of my first round out after 7 weeks. Idk what it is but the face milling on this thing feels so good. Almost a Carbon feel...loving it so far

Took mine out for its first round since last season, and putting was also my strong suit. Really impressed with this putter, the feel is really soft yet solid. When you put a good roll on it you know immediately, and honestly less than perfect strokes get me way closer to the hole than I deserve. The crazy thing is how much touch I have this putter, its as easy on 3 foot sliders as 40 foot hit and prays. Honestly, for me it is the best putter I have ever owned

For sure! And it’s not even close. I have a putt out mat and cup and deliberately try heel shots or toe shots with the Vegas and the ball just tracks straight. When I first got it, it took some getting used to since I came from an anser style. The H7 neck promotes toe flow so it’s a good match, the head itself works magic. My typical miss on longer putts is a stroke towards the heel, this putter basically mitigates that. It feels like point and shoot, and I think part of that is due to the way fangs are straight inside and make almost a channel alignment aid of sorts. Unreal is all I have to say, and I even went back to anser just to see.
