This is why I only bought 4 dozen today. Going to give them a try but I'm guessing they will be in stock from here on out. Either way I still have about 20 dozen of the old version that should last my lifetime.

I still have new boxes of the old and will compare it to the new ones when they arrive and see if there are any differences in readings on my GC2.

Remember, they were trying to dump (with buy 1 get 1) the chinese made 3pc balls a month or two ago.

i ordered some - and will give a comparison with some Trackman data once they arrive.

I've been playing the 3 piece all summer so I'm very interested to see the difference. Maybe I'll actually start getting some forward roll with the driver.

How many times do you plan to try to disparage this ball simply because of where Costco has sourced it? Do you not think that Costco knows a thing or two about managing the quality of its off-shore manufactured products?

Word on the street is they have a set of cast GI clubs and a set of forged MBs that are in the works.

And just when I was losing hope, I was down to my last 7 sleeves of the original 4 piece. After an all time high of 11 dozen stockpiled. I can't wait to see how version 2 compares to version 1. I have 8 dozen on the way.

but I already bet the "non profit" testers on the other website will bash it for being made in China, and try their best to cut every ball open till they find a bad ball so they can glorify it and say SNELL is the best!.... jk but not really

This is a new and improved ball, not the same 4 piece. Needs to be judged separately

The original 4pc ball was produced over two years ago for a very brief time in limited numbers.

 

This new 4pc model has been on the USGA Conforming list for several months.

There's a reasonable chance you will see these in the stores at some point.

I'm envisioning positive reviews and unlimited stock in stores with no shipping costs. 90+% of golfers would likely never pay $4/ball again.
