Anyone game any of the Honma TW737 drivers?

Scooped up a 460cc brand new for 150$ and I am pleasantly surprised. Love the simple look of it. It's a backup right now to my 917 until I get used to it. But I'd love to hear anyone else's experience with the TW737 drivers.

The feel and consistency is quite nice as well in my opinion

Picked up a 455 CC w the Vizard 60s shaft for $110

Per my sig, using TW737 460 10.5 with Vizard 50 regular flex. Straight and long, easily beat out Cobra F9 and all other comers. I also have a 455 with Vizard 50 stiff, also long and straight, just a few yards shorter than the 460. Gaming a 13* TW737 with Vizard 50 stiff also.

 

Now the weird part, of course I bought a 747 460 Vizard 60 regular to try: it was awful. So awful I think I may have gotten a bad club, fortunately was able to return it, but I'm sticking with the TW737 460 unless something else can beat it.

Interesting! Well I'm glad to hear your love the 737 I'm getting it delivered tomorrow and can't wait! I went with VIZARD A 60 Stiff

I've been looking at these drivers too once I saw the price drop. But I'm torn with which shaft to get. I'm very fond of the Blueboard profile. Which of the shaft options would be best?

Well the Vizard shafts will have a designation for kickpoint (high or low), shaft weight (50-70), and stiffness. I'm an old slow 85 driver speed and the high kick point 50 gram regular is just fine, but I've also been able to use the 50 gram low kick point stiff flex in a TW737 13* 3 wood and I have it in a 455 TW737 driver as well, it's not too stiff but I do get better driver yardage with the regular flex (though it's in a 460 head so not apples to apples).

TW 737 455 with Vizard A stiff 70g. Great classic looking club. straight and long; ball rolls so much. Extremely overlooked driver.

I don't, but I was hitting one at the Demo Day for the PGA Merchandise Show in 2018 and thought it was superb. Too bad I'm in love with my G410 and Ventus shaft setup. But, I was always interested in seeing how the TW737 would perform out on the course.

Picking up this thread again. I just bought a TW737 driver head and went to put it on a shaft I have but it seems this hosel is huge, possibly .370. Anyone know?

Is it threaded?

That means the lines inside of the hosel, correct? Yes, those are there.

It should be .335, if I'm not badly mistaken.

I've been enjoying the 747 460 10.5 with Vizard 60s. I still need to work with it, been a bit inconsistent. But I've hit some great drives with it, can't complain. Been messing around with the adjustment system, still trying to find the right set up.
