Titleist TS hybrids, U500 & U510 utility irons

i ordered a U500 4i with an Atmos Black HB last week and it's been shipped already.

perhaps certain heads and shafts are causing the delay?

I was told November as well. I got mine with the hzrdus smoke 6.5 1&1/2 inch over. I was told it was due to getting the proper swing weight.

Anyone order with the ef white 100 get theirs yet? I was told mine was pulled to be built 9/10 but still no tracking. T100s are delayed too due to not having modus 120x in stock. I’m shocked how unprepared titleist is on this lineup

Dont have it yet but yes that is the plan. Currently hitting my 4 and 5 the same distance.

Mine was ordered the day before - no word from my fitter but I assume that the same thing has happened to mine. This is absolutely asinine that Titleist can struggle this much with this.

Ordered my U500 4i on 9/6 from DD and it finally arrived today, however Fedex did quite the number on the box and in turn bent the damn club! That's a first for me. I contacted DD about it and they are going to talk to Titleist about getting a replacement out. Hopefully it isnt backordered at this point...I was really looking forward to using it this weekend.

Knowing the 3 iron head is backordered now, I picked up a stock one off of the rack on the way to play in a scramble yesterday. I only took a few swings with it on the range before and played my UDI during the tournament, but I'll say that my first impression was very positive. It certainly suits my eye more than the 718T-MB with the reduced offset, and the thicker sole isn't off-putting at address. From the few swings I made I found it just as long as my UDI (I'll get it on a launch monitor at some point to confirm this) but with a slightly lower trajectory, which is good for me. It was definitely longer than the T-MB even though the T-MB is built with my preferred shaft and this is not. Very pleasantly surprised, and finally a driving iron that has a legit chance of knocking my UDI out of the bag!

Liking mucho. For me, the TS2 was just a better look and flight than the TS3, even though I'm typically a deeper faced / lower flight club player and I do not sweep the ball. Ballflight is predictable, head is small enough to maneuver through uneven lies and you can still trap it off the tee or into the wind. I'm enjoying the extra forgiveness over my previous Adams Idea Pro, even if I would tell you I hit it dead center every time :D . EvenFlow white, which I have absolutely loved in my TS3 3W and was a big reason for wanting this club, is seeming just as stable and confidence-inspiring here as it is in that club.

 

I'd still consider it early days, but I'm a fan.

Did you test against the 818 hybrids by any chance?

Welp, looks like the U500 4i is backordered now as well. My only recourse is to send club back for Titleist to re-install the shaft. The last time Titleist did any shaft repair work for me, the turnaround time was a month...hoping it is a much quicker turnaround time, but seriously doubtful.

Any hybrid shaft they offer is available in the U500/510

Wow that sucks. I went in to a couple local stores and saw they had them on the rack. I play mine stock so it worked out for me.

U500s are quite easy to hit. I've never been able to hit either a 3 or 4 iron very high, but these get up in the air with ease and I can still flight them low when needed.

Played 2 rounds with my TS2 17 degree now and loving it. Already had 915 21,24, and 27 degree. Ditched my Rogue 4 wood in favor of TS2 17 degree, which I am hitting longer and much much straighter. Hit it off the tee a lot, and have hit 3-4 very good fairway shots with it on long par5s too. Great club, and you can feel the thinner/hotter face compared to 915’s.

I ended up with the U510 2 iron as well and man this thing is a beast. So easy to hit it is crazy.
